Well, you need to somehow pitch your idea, and newbies do not fly freighters, so…
I’ve already given an example of how he blatantly lied (coal jobs). And here’s another: the border wall he promised, which still hasn’t been built and never will be built because it is not a viable idea from an engineering point of view.
TBH, the idea that Trump is great at economic policy is laughably insane anyway. This is the man who took a major inheritance from his (racist asshole) father and turned it into less wealth than if he’d dumped it into a generic investment account and walked away. His business history is full of failed projects, including somehow managing to lose a ton of money in the casino business. But I guess because Trump played a fictional successful businessman on a TV show that must make it reality…
I think you have a basic misunderstanding of this issue because those so called unelected people holding cabinet position had to be voted in as a MP in the first place. Though Lords can also become Cabinet ministers. In France they are appointed without having to be voted in. De Villepin is a good example who was PM under Chirac. This man never stood for anything where he was voted in, and yet he was PM.
In terms of the concept of electoral accountability in the UK system, you have to look at the fact that most times people are voting for their MP as part of a political party lead by a named leader. So it flows through that. I am not a fan of Boris Johnson to be honest.
If a party starts to have issues and looks to lose the next election, they will be removed by the MP’s, you might recall what happened to Thatcher. Until I see any person from the EU resign because of voting by people I have to say that people who say this have a point.
In France which is where I live I often explain this to people who understand it after they get their head around it. I also have fun with the Anglo concept of being free before the law as compared to the EU one of you have these rights. It can be quite fun to have discussions like that.
Anyway, chill Lucas.
That’s because it doesn’t.
Only piss poor people and peasants think it does.
Edit: My post doesn’t break any rules.
I think the key word here is electoral accountability, in that the voting of people will affect them. This is most certainly the case with the UK system of government, but not the case for the EU positions. Sorry but people have a point with this.
They were voted in as an MP by people and can be voted out by people. So for me they are elected member of Parlement. And I am telling you that in France for example they can appoint people who have never been elected as an MP to the positions in the cabinet. Which I think is way worse.
In France they have a FPTP system for their MP’s, if they gain more than 50% of the vote they win first round, if not they have a second round where the first and second and third place have a run off based on getting above a certain percentage of the vote. You have to have some sort of FPTP system to break logjams like what kept Italy in a state of chaos all the time for many years.
SO. ANYWAY. ABOUT THESE NON-POLITICAL FREIGHTERS…
Freighters etc. Cool. Yeah. Buffs and nerfs. Mods n sh1t.
Jfc people…
No idea what that means.
But I tried to make it look like Captain Kirk…
Nobody cares about freighters. The obvious answer, “no you are not getting a HP buff because you’re too stupid to avoid getting ganked”, was given over 800 posts ago. All that’s left is laughing at idiot Trump supporters as a break from laughing at farmer trash.
Still butthurt, running around insulting people by calling them Trump supporters, grow up manchild.
Yeah fair enough.
It’s me. Me me. The real me. Despite him telling everyone otherwise!
It doesn’t need to mean anything.
Kirk does not have a beard, but the resemblence is striking!
Also, because it’s apparently topic for whatever reason: ■■■■ trump supporters!
My apologies.
I’ve left the door open.
She escaped.
Calm down, miners.
