Frequent Crashes on macOS Sonoma with M2 Max and M1 MacBooks

Im running a MM M4 with Sequoia 15.5 beta, 16gb, 256gb.
I havent experienced any crashes… yet..

I think EVE takes all it can get in those battles with all those graphic intense places.

as ALL games the computer&GPU (Mac as PC) works harder and harder With all stuff on the screen…
and it will crash OR lag/low FPS to protect the hardware.

so if you grind normally with 10 ships on screen in 4k ultra-super-duper with a fps or 60.
What do you think if there are 100ships? you need 600fps ( basic math) does the computer manage that with out being hot? no…

for the simple maths (just to get a hang of it) sake just say

1ship on 4k is 6fps
10ship 4k 60fps
100ship 4k 600fps
A+B=C :winking_face_with_tongue:
100ship 1k 150fps ( more normal?)

So with that said…
just lower the settings in fleetbattle… NO computer manage it in the long run :winking_face_with_tongue: (not even windows with 5090)
you don’t need to se all details on every cool ship or all light, shaders and so on…

if you need the 4k solution change to LOW settings on everything in fleetbattles..
and do you want that high detail then lower the 4k to 1k or even 0,5k :winking_face_with_tongue:
