From Extraction To Production: Update

ID EBR-227222 (Created on Singularity)

Also… I noticed that the Skiff has a malus to shield resist per skill level on Singularity…
ID EBR-227225
EDIT: Actually, it is all 3 Exhumers. The shield resist per Exhumers level is applied as a malus

The Miasmos has a “Mining Hold” now, and can hold ore, ice and gas.

After some lengthy conversations we have decided for this release to withdraw ALL changes to Ubiquitous Moon Ores in relation to their refined materials .

Thank Bob. pi was dumb enough removing Pyrite was just plain stupid. look at them after the pyrite market is under control there isn’t enough pyrite in the world without moons to feed production.

The mining hold capacity for barges and exhumers is being update as per the following table:

Awesome! except the hulk still needs more… like 15k min you’ve only given us exactly one more cycle… yay now we get 3 to 4 cycles… it’s still a Pita to use because it demands so much attention. i dont need or want it to be an afk boat that’s the Ret\Mack’s job but the hulk is virtually unusable without 100% attention. and idk if you’ve ever mined for more than an hour or so with one but it gets tedious and tiring. there is a HUGE reason why the Rorq was used over the Hulk and it isn’t because its yield. its because how low Actions it takes to use the ship. unlike the hulk which is literally screaming for your attention every 3 mins. PLEASE fix this. 11.5k isn’t enough.

All ships that had the specialized ore hold will now see a Mining Hold where all mine-able resources can be stored.
i mean cool but why? why do we even need special holds for gas and ice? the ore hold works fine for all of them by bother? also when you added theses to sisi they weren’t attached to the skills for the cargoholds themselves so the Orca didn’t get a bonus to the Gas hold size it was only 150k not 180k like l5 Ore hold is. idk if this is an oversight or what.

again i would like to thank CCP for actually taking the time, responding and actually listening to the community on this patch. i hope we have this kind of dialog a lot more moving forward. we are your single greatest Development resource… use us as such.

Thank you for reverting the moon mining changes. I like to do WH mining and those changes would have made transport very difficult.

There is no bottleneck in faction battleship BPCs with the level of farming that is possible to do in endless havens and sanctums. Pirate battleships were definitely entirely broken before and there is no way around that. with copies I had seen sometimes dropping as low as 120 million and then requiring the same minerals to construct as a T1 battleship while being massively better than standard T1 or navy battleships and to cost barely anything more.

If the bpc drops were turned down a little - ok, but that is also risky modifying the odds, the probability multiplier could cause them to drop almost nothing.

I think where they are at now is not really a good place, but nothing should be done with them until gas compression arrives/industrialists have more opportunity to adjust. There are big opportunities for wormhole industrialists that they haven’t realized yet. I think they should at least be given a chance to take that up and start exporting, though I don’t think they will.

But after that if the faction parts still dont come down, it could be adjusted easily only by reducing the number required to build a faction ship or reducing the ME requirements of the parts.

I do not believe that adding gas to R4’s which could be mined in high SEC is a good idea. It will affect the value of gas in wormholes and not make it as worth mining.

There is a whole economic web here and if you touch one thing you affect other things. Adding gas to R4’s with decrease the value of gas in other more dangerous places where it’s even harder to mine such as wormholes.

What the heck is a malus?
Did you mean bonus, or minus, or?

Malus is the inverse of bonus.

That’s what I mean, the limiting factor was the BPC, not the complexity of the build process or the materials to build. For how much do the BPCs go now?

5 years later everything will include PI. couse somehow palatine must be build.

I wonder how this lack of Pyerite influences the prices of compressed ores that contain Pyerite, most notoriously Compressed Arkonor and Compressed Bistot. Because these two are among the best sources for Pyerite, and once Type C lasers are in the game, they’ll most likely effectively cease to exist, unless the anomality spawn mechanics are changed.

I use Hulks all the time to mine in null. Why would I use anything else?
Null’s the safest place in new eden, and if a ship needs more ehp to be usable in null, wouldn’t it need a lot more ehp to be usable in low or high?

The Porpose is pretty nice to huff gas (or ore) with. With some tuning, it can aligns in less then 4 seconds and warp more then 4AU/s, and can pull the cloaky microwarp align trick if you end up in a gatecamp.

Technically, considering the price to build faction and pirate ships cost (in many case, mainly cruisers and up) more in materials than what you could pay for the built ships in any of the hubs, the price of the BPC would have to be negative. Buying the BPC from the LP stores is a real joke.

The Stratios is a good example: BPC is 120k LP + 30mil (est. 150mil ISK)
Cost to build in material: 417mil
Price of a built ship in Jita: 355mil buy/373mil sell
But… you can buy it built from the LP store for 300k LP +20 mil (est. 320mil)
Assuming the consensus is 1000 isk per LP in average.
Now CCP… I’m not asking to raise the price of the built ship in the LP store! lol!

Yaaaaay

So he’s seriously saying that the higher your Exhumers skill, the lower your resistances?!?

In what MMO does that make sense…?

They fired their QA, and rely on us, maybe.
Unfitted Mackinaw. Base is 20% for Thermal, as an example. Exhumer level 4.

75 million. but it takes 1.3 of mats to build and they sell for about 800 million, so really the blueprints currently are useless as its cheaper to get them by LP unless for some reason you have the mats and its easier for you to build locally. Gas compression could change a lot, make it more trasnportable to help the mats move around a bit of wormholers dont want to use their regular connections to make completed products in their hole

And wastage please, can that go

Just change the wording from wastage to bonus and its perfectly fine. It is literally the same thing just one word has a more negative connotation
