No, you said the skills.
Quote the whole thing.
Y’all crybears are so mad CCP is taking your ISK printermobiles away, that you have to pretend the ship is something it isn’t just to build some kind of argument why they shouldn’t.
I think they should just remove waste from excavs, and then it will be okay, that way solo players can still mine with it pretty good, however a multiboxer will mine faster with 1 rorq and barges/exhumers. Keeps solo players in the playing field and keeps multiboxers from going insane.
And again, If were sticking to ship roles, Time to remove all combat capabilities from the command ships line as they are very OP solo pvp ships. Time to remove all boost capabilities from carriers / Faxs as that is not their role, Time to get rid of the combat and boosh capabilities of command destroyers because hell they are Command destroyers affter all…
@CCP_Psych can you please confirm these? It appears to be incorrect, as it indicates a T1 laser and stripper has the same efficiency as the ORE version?
The way this chart ready t1 is better than t2.
It’s not prosperity.
It’s again a continuation of the scarity. A continuation less worse than the previous you want to implement, but it’s a nerf on a situation call scarcity.
I will repeat it but: If you want end scarcity you must: remove stockpile (it won’t work, you havbe try during 2 year) OR made industry to rorqual era level.
All other change will jsut lead to player who join game unable to catch older player.
Havnt you heard? The new wa to play the game is like back in the old days, Keep creating new 1 month accounts to stay at t1 level. T2 and capitals are being removed from the game. Thats the end of scarcity, Theres gonna be nothing but micro transactions to spend your isk on!
Except they’re not removing the Orca’s capability to mine in its entirety, but bringing it in line so it’s not the de facto most efficient option available to anyone in high-sec.
If command ships, for example, are too strong in their role as both boosting and combat ships, I’m all in favor of balancing them out. But as someone who occasionally flies them, I can tell you that they aren’t.
It’s good that ORE miner have an advantage.
But if the T1 strip miner waste is lower than T2, we will be banned from using T2 for moon ore.
Is this desirable?
Oh…
So like back in 2003/4…
no they arent, they are literally making it not worth flying the orca or rorqual, for the cost of them. you forget, these ships cost 1.8 bill / 6 bill just for the hulls, Why on earth is someone going to fly one to just give some boosts, just get a porpoise and do the same thing for a fraction of the price because its not a capital and using capital parts.
Yeah!! You got it!
Read my above post. CCP’s end of scarcity is not to make it easier to make money, Its to reduce the ammount of stuff you can spend said isk on, Step 1, Remove all capitals from the game after making them uselss and way to expensive. Step 2, Remove all tech 2 and meta 4 modules from the game, T1 and faction only. Step 3, Remove anythng that may cost over 20 mill so that day 1 players have the same oppertunitie as day 100.
there’s simply no point in risking a 2 bil ship to mine as much as a barge… there’s no PANIC with the CiC, it requires fuel to operate.
Mining with it without the CiC since they removed all the bonuses from the ship itself , it’s the equivalent of mining with a battleship. That’d be safer.
A barge can’t mine as much as a barge and boost as much as an Orca at the same time. An Orca can’t, or rather shouldn’t, boost as much as an Orca and mine as much as a barge at the same time. Simple common sense.
Not everything is about safety. That’s a restriction you choose to put on yourself, and is your own prerogative.
Use to mine in an apoc back in the days before t2 were even around.
I don’t think T1 is “better” here than T2, it’s more efficient. With full T2 gear you’re going to have considerably higher yield than T1. If T1 guns produced less heat (they produce the same, but for the sake of argument), they wouldn’t automatically be better than T2 guns.
Unless you’re severely limited on ore supply, T2 is clearly a better choice. Ideally, faction gear would offer a yield more proportionate to their cost so that when you are limited on ore supply, the tradeoff between setup cost, yield and waste is a finely balanced decision.
an orca cannot boost itself , it has no mining turrets and boost doesn’t affects it’s drones, what is he going to boost the wrecks ? that doesn’t help.
Fine you win. If you have no regards for your safety then take the shortest route thru Ahbazon on your way from jita to amarr o7
The Orca wont mine as much as a barge anymore anyways. Right now you are looking at closer to half an unboosted Hulk.
Context would be greatly appreciated. If it does refer to quantity, does it include the projected waste as part of the yield? And could a second set of graphs with the porpoise and orca added be made available, so we can see all the changes going on?
