Porpoise NEED compression!
Because believe me or not, this ship is used a lot, especially in low sector, nulls also and wormholes (Orca is to fat and to big risk to use it in WH space)
And ye, Porpoise is command ship, but have not that big of resource cargo hold m3, fine if you do not want make it bigger, I can understand that, but do NOT remove compression, because Porpoise is sill a COMMAND ship and he deserve compression. DO not make this one a “sad face ship” give him some sparkles to.
Venture should have Gas mining available: m3 you mine with Venture isn’t that huge of a bonus, but rookie can actually taste WH and low.(null mining is risk since gas clouds damage your mining ship and venture simply can’t mine so no worries, newbros wont take away lots of gas there)
Prospect & Endurance should keep bonus to mining Gas/Ice we train them and we use t2 modules on them, and crystals. They are Mining ships! Not exploration not pvp (sure you can use them there as well) but MAIN role is - ORE MINIG Frigates. Don’t take away this one.
Procurer/Skiff - Don’t nerf shield bonus as you did wanted, procurer, with all honesty, is the LAST ship from a tree I would mine with. Exception if you are truly alone in space of a miner and want to kill ratts and mine then yea, sure procurer is a good for that, but many of us use those whips in PVP, yes Mining barge for a pvp. And with shield nerf it’s sad and we all want to cry.
Compression: well… can agree with 90% compression waste, but I still think that ICE should not be so much of a waste for compression, because it’s rly heavy to begin with, and we all compress Ice 79% it is to drastic. Make it less.
Animation for Minig Crystals - sigh… make a event for that, players, who paint can participate and then vote for the best one. This one, particular, is not very beautiful for eye’s. (sorry to the person who created this one)
Porp compression is good but I’d rather have 3 types of tech 2 porp: one for ice with large dedicated ice hold and ice compression only, similar for gas and ore. Priced at x2 exhumer or thereabouts. Give them an extra high slot and 2 more low slots so they can mount decent dps/combat capability. You kind of need it for some of the new anomaly rats.
i bet mineral prices will go up and u pay 50-60 mil for a normal t1 cruiser hull so only rich ppl can go roaming and normal player can just dock up and wait yay sounds like fun and as a new player ur totaly fuked. 2-3 hours ratting for a caracal god CCP think about what u doing u wont get more players and lose allot.

This is a strange post. Mining yield is up on every mining barge and asteroids have doubled in size. Why would this lead to price rises?
caus rorquals are the mineral producers atm and if u cut that of prices will go up or u rly think ppl will get exhumer accounts and miner more?

Yes. it would be awesome. All CCP has to do is increase the hold size of the Nereus (and equivalent transport cargo freighters) I never understood why they introduced the specialised Miasmos, Kryos and Epithal. As an active miner, I only want to shift the maximum amount of ore/minerals/manufactured goods in the least number of trips. If I was cynical, specialised freighters only make it easier for gankers/PvPers to identify the type of cargo being transported.
I actually don’t hate these changes they are way better than what was plan before… But I don’t like it completly either… as a miner which uses only 3 toons to mine and used rorq maybe 3-4 times only I don’t really mind that… Orca nerfs are fine also as they are used 90% of time by highsec bots to mine…
One serious question @CCP_Psych please can you tell me what will happens with Crystals blueprints and manufactured crystals we already have? same for T2 bpc for crystals? I hope not all of them will go to type C-crystals but will be split evenly or alteast give us a A-type crystals as they are the “normal” ones…
And second question how will it be with deep core strip miners for mercoxit mining? Will there be faction variants with crystals for mercoxit? or we have always lose 34/44% of ore from the rocks? Mercoxit is pretty expensive so would be nice to know what’s the plan about it… (not talking about faction deep core mining laser)

You can make more money with T1… But at a far slower rate, due to the yields being lower.
This is exactly the opposite argument that people were making against the last version of the patch: it didn’t matter that you could mine more ore, as it took far longer to extract it, or you needed more alts.
Now, from a different party, we have the argument that it doesn’t matter about getting more alts, or taking longer, people will just take the path that gets them more ore.
I really do feel for the Devs as there is no pleasing this player base.
They didn’t thought it would remove it. I assume you read interview. CCP Rise said it himself. They didn’t even thought that waste will hurt new players. It’s beyond “devs don’t play EVE”.
CCP is stepping out claiming that they care, talking to news sites. But for me, they just over and over adding oil to fire. Confirming again and again how terrible they are at doing their job
I agree. If I recall CCP introduced them so that miners had to compete with NPC corps to obtain the ore.
I got all my rorquals to mine, not to be fleet support.
Please consider capital mining ships. Make the yield big enough to justify their existence/cost. Make the ore bay small enough so that rorqs are obligatory. Make their agility create a higher risk.
In a drop, if the miners get off and the rorq with all the ore gets destroyed then the attackers achieve their mission. Miners come out and do it all again.
If there was a one-off way to swap rorqs for capital mining ship, that would be interesting too.
From my reading all the proposed changes were either cancelled or scaled back?
Compression changes removed, T1 miners dont cause any Waste at all and the reduction to Drone mining has been more or less done away with?
Is that not the case?
Sure let’s nerf the ORCA cause BOT uses it… Instead of leaving the ORCA as it was and dealing with the BOTS instead.

I am glad you are looking at the waste percentage, you are going in the wrong direction though. Waste needs to be lower. You just increased the waste on type A tech II crystals. Which means you are punishing people for training to tech II. Instead of 25% of a rock being wasted, it becomes 30%. Not a big deal to mega corps and massive alliances, but a huge deal to smaller corps. Can you please lower the waste percentages across the board? I do not think it is a bad mechanic but it is too punishing right now.
