From Extraction to Production - will it make me return to Eve?

I make so much isk, I don’t have to make isk, and I’ve never lost isk.

No one buys the “hurr durr me and everyone that has ever attacked me doesn’t use zkill”

Your zkill says you are utter trash that has no knowledge of the game.

Good.

Ditto.

You realize a lot of PvPers don’t upload everything right?

Also I’m pretty sure I have more knowledge than you as I understand N+1 and why you have no hole control.

Also back in the day I was def lazy and never uploaded. I also ransomed a ton too. Ah the golden days of piracy. Long dead I’m afraid.

You literally cry so much you could start a salt mine in that WH of yours. If you fly solo, you gotta accept more risk.

It is a fact. No way to get around it.

Its ok bro. I know it rankles that I actually have fun playing EVE.

I hope to one day find your hole

Even their protest is AFK

This game is hilarious :joy:

Of course it is.
Because mining for half an hour to get X amount of ore, then put it into an Orca for compression only to get less back (due to the all new compression waste) than you put in is in fact a “buff” for miners.

Sorry but I don’t consider losing a % of harvested ore due to a new game mechanic a “buff”.

Neither is it a nerf as this is something all miners will have to deal with, so you will not be at a competitive disadvantage to the others.

The small loss % from compression will lead to a smaller supply of ores (if miners spend an equal amount of time mining after and before the changes) so ore prices will likely go up as compensation for the decrease of the supply.

End result: you get paid for your mining time about the same as you do today once the prices settle to a new equilibrium.

Whats the comparison of extra ore mined through the new Waste vs T2/Faction/Good Skills bonus to the amount lost in compression?

IE How much Waste do you need to get in your yield to happily ignore compression Loss?

but isn’t your rep quite good? lol I would be proud of that many ships destroyed vs lost…!

Bro all he talks about is hole control and how he has to have it.

It isn’t my fault!

Yes and no. I didn’t upload a lot to zkills back in the day. Nowadays since I mostly roam solo, I’m very selective of my targets.

Its harder now to solo cause almost everyone multi boxes but it is what it is.

The recent hookbill kill was a fun one. Went in fully expecting to die and then I didn’t. But I also used a special type of cloak so

The industrial core adds 10/15% to command boost str.

That’s a buff.

That is a separate mechanic to compression which is a mechanic designed to allow the orca to stay in belts longer/take less trips at the expense of a tiny (truly only a couple of percent) efficiency.

Since the latter is completely optional, yes…it’s been buffed.

This is something people just don’t seem to understand. And also if you don’t do rorqual mining then it’ll get even better due to having less competition.

And let’s not forget you have to be an omega before flying the orca.

No thanks.

Then i suggest you mine in low sec anoms with a venture. Should get you decent isk. Before and after the changes.

Prices may spike a little initially but will settle back to roughly where they are now, or, where they were before scarcity (pretty close to what they are now) as people find the new “min/max”.
So no real gain for the miners and a net loss for the boosting/compression ship. Effort + cost vs return for boosting and compressing ore = ??

Mining is about min/max game play, minimum effort for maximum return. Why do you think Rorquals and Orcas were the goto mining setups? They weren’t the most efficent but they certainly lowered income vs effort level.
