Regardless of the ship size, a MWD and Warp Drive engine will always take some form of liquid or gas to create the controlled the propulsive force necessary.
A warp drive engine is not 100% mechanical in design, like an all electrical car is.

they dont take liquid anything, as explained once by the Space Pope that became cannon in a book about EvE techâŚexoctic energy from hooking up the power spheres all EvE ships are built with to fusion reactors is used to power warp drives and MWD. Learn your lore idiot.
Yawn.
They? Who are they? Space Pope, pfft. Cannon is spelled canon.

exotic energy is a generalized word just like power spheres is also a generalized word because you did not specify the exact nature of the exotic energy nor the power spheres.
An oh, thatâs how must it work, ooga booga type of moment. But hey, you grabbed ahold of that moment and rode it right into the ground. Good job cowboy.
they dont take liquid anything. Various types of elemental slush such as deuterium in liquid form would be converted into useable fuel. Just replace, Iâm certain that isnât very difficult for you to do, just replace deuterium with an Eve Online based slushie fuel and your precious Space Popeâs words become more than just, 'Oh, exotic space energies. Great and mysterious power spheres, unto the reckoning of the engine, go there. Now."
Donât work like that Champ. But keep up the good work and maybe one day you can become champion-o-holic like everyone else.
Modern nuclear submarine takes one fuel source and uses that to power the drives, the sonar, the desalinization plant, the stoves in the kitchen, the lights in the Captainâs quarters. Oh, and it does it all without ever needing refueled.
So tell us again how far fetched it is that one fuel source powers a bunch of different systems again?
