FW fights Farmers! **** yeah! :D

They’re not making a point, because at the end of the day it’s only their opinion that FW farming is “broken”.

It’d be more impactful to make their own point: to take not only their “farming” alts, but also their mains that are funded by FW, and go elsewhere, leaving the FWers with even less content than they have now.

Really, I predict that northern FW is going to become a lot more active; it’s gonna become the place to be soon. The people who organized this “mission lockout” are going to be left with egg on their faces.

This is (baselessly) assuming that people who plex and run FW missions are “PvE-only players”. Any argument based on this premise would be specious at best.

I’ve gotten involved with enough irrational and hysterical women in my life. No thanks.

It’s an opinion shared by a lot of us, and they have highlighted it very effectively.

What “content” is going to leave? Perma-victim farmers don’t add content, they just sit there mindlessly farming and avoiding all interaction with other players. And I am extremely skeptical of the claim that they have relevant mains to care about, the kind of people who have PvP mains don’t play perma-victim farming alts and whine on the forums about how their missions are too difficult to access.

Could be. Hopefully the Caldari/Gallente side does the same thing and completes the removal of FW missions.

Given that we’re talking about people who refuse to engage in PvP I think it’s a pretty obvious premise. If they were PvP players they wouldn’t be whining on the forums about how their missions were removed, they’d organize a PvP response and take back the systems.

No, they’ve only highlighted that they have the opinion.

The militia pilots and the neutrals/“pirates” that are funded by FW and provide content.

You can be skeptical all you want. We’ll see the results over the next few months. There are only three possibilities really: activity will either go up, or down. It could conceivably stay the same, but I highly doubt it.

Once they see how it kills the south, they probably won’t.

Says who? Where’s your proof of this?

Again, says who? What’s your argument to support this assertion?

It’s difficult to say if you really believe someone should roam around in something that is least likely to win over what they prefer to be flying with.

You can make the recommendation that weaker ships might increase the likelihood of others accepting a fight, but ignore the ability of those who are weaker to step up their game with either a better ship or more friends to even the gap.

You pretend like all pilots in the warzone are just killboard whores, but that’s a lame corner to take. You assert that if only people would ship down, that would solve the problem. But knowing you, you’d respond that you never said pirate hulls were the problem.

It’s you that needs to take a look at how you engage in dialogue, because it seems you are just kicking dirt around and have nothing really to say here. But go ahead, wind up the doll. Why mention pirate frigs, if they’re not the problem? Why hold the ridiculous view that it’s a bad thing to avoid a bad fight? Maybe you can convince the enemy that they should ship down and then they’ll have their fight, or leave behind their logi.

Your reasoning is something to laugh at, and your arrogance at considering others privileged to your answers even more so. @Xuixien

To be clear, when your complaints are centered on how individuals or groups react, to insult isolated reactions and then cower behind every angle being reduced to opinion. That, frankly, is wasting my mf time.

This is not a social problem. What’s broken is foundational game mechanics, which influence human behavior. The bottom line is where we want to see changes. So bring this back to something solid or … well, I’m not one to tell you where you can go to listen best to the sound of your own voice, but an open space like a forum is not as good as an empty cave.

There’s nothing here for me to really respond to. Most of your post is just grandstanding personal attacks. But I’m going to be charitable and assume you just have bad reading comprehension, rather than conclude that you’re maliciously strawmanning me. Have a nice day.

Wow, so much text and barely any meaningful content at all.
You guys really only do this to please yourselves, hu?

Lots of nonsense, lots of fallacies, lots of misunderstandings regarding people.

Well … keep it up!

Then why don’t you go ahead and talk about what you think is wrong with FW, instead of being so contentious. Say something, either good or bad about FW and propose a possible solution or be ready to defend against obvious flaws that can’t be reduced to opinion.

As for me, I already spoke about dplexing. About possible adjacency bonuses, and a ton more in the cross faction discord. Who was of the first voices to expose missions, while others kept the information close to the chest like a golden goose?

As for fallacies and misreading motivations … prove me wrong if it’s me you’re talking about. You think anyone would create an alt for dplexing if you couldn’t afk it as much?

Nice shifting goalposts.

Lol. I thought so.

I don’t have any problem with opinions. I draw issue with anyone passing them as facts. This is not a discussion about your favorite color and you all should know the difference. I’ll shift it back to a sensible conclusion any day and you have my sympathy if you let this troll dominate you with a carousel debate that has little to do with the matter at hand.

The guide points, but some just see the finger.

So then why’d you shift goalposts if you knew I’d have the wherewithal to point them out?

Because the conversation was going nowhere and there’s not sense in chasing the wind.

When your opponent doesn’t choose somewhere to stand their ground, you’re dealing with a satirist who won’t put skin in the game of ideas. Who will poke at flaws, but never attend to them.

Where is the love in such a man? There only derision and scoffing.

No, I wasn’t talking about you. But neither would I place a mocker below in value to a subservient animal. But even Diogenes, who slept with the dogs, would be cutting it close if his criticisms were more nonsense than true.

I’ve chosen ground to stand on. If you missed it, you just scroll on back up and reread the thread.

Slowly.

Awww boohoo. If this ~triggers~ you, the solution is simply to get better ideas.

…what the frak are you two even arguing about?

Hey, I haven’t really found any EVE section on that forum you spoke of.

There isn’t one. There is a thread on it in the “Games & Gaming” section, it’s just not very active.
