Yup launcher closed and my computer is high end, never had any problem on Eve since the update the original post is talking about. Cache cleared, drivers up to date, etc, etc…

It’s happening to me, as well. Just came back to see how the game is after a long break. High-end gaming rig. Massive audio stutter and mini-freezes. They happen simultaneously. Hopefully is resolved soon.
Issue still happening to me with Focusrite Scarlett USB soundcard. Particularly when jumping through stargates, when I hit the other side the game freezes for a few seconds, and then freezes again for a shorter time, before running normally. During the freezes all sound output from the game stops. Disabling sound fixes the freezes.
