Gankers and freighters, a request for discussion. Not a BJ RANT

An urban legend. A ghost story. A cautionary tale. A romantic comedy even!!

The bubble will still interdict along the approach line.

That a ship has a wider cone to align, does not change its destination as culminating at that point.

The cone they use to warp from, will still be within x angle, and y km as they otherwise would.

If you bump a ship km off, then its trajectory to warp destination will be angled, but still arrive at destination (or be interdicted) as usual.

Also, as usual, you will still see the rough direction the ship warps off in, as it will turn towards it, regardless of the degree of align required.

Not sure why you are trying to make a point about something it does not affect when there are stuff like insta-undock it actually does effect.

You still try to solve a problem that only exists in your mind because you don’t understand game mechanics. Again: bumping does not tackle a target, your “solution” to the non-existing issue will mess with other stuff.

Stop talking about stuff you don’t understand

That bumping “tackles” (ie: interferes with warping) is superfluous.

All it needs to do, is exactly what it does at its root, displace a ship.
That’s what a bump does, pushes another ship. Nothing more, nothing less,

Other warp prevention methods already exist in dedicated modules, as point.

Refusing to recognise that, stinks of vested interest.

And ignorance?
What does that point to exactly @Salvos_Rhoska?

Or refusal to admit the simple truth that nothing needs changing?

You’re simply and clearly trolling at this point.
That’s as clear as night and day for all to see

The last 82 posts are literally you going back to points that were dismissed 250 posts+ ago

Why would anything be different now than it was then?

That is some special tactic you have here. People beat down your non-argument because you have no clue about the game and then you just state the same refuted shite all over again like.

Really shows exactly who the dishonest guy is in this discussion.

If you want to displace a ship, then bump it.
(For example: Bumping a miner off a rock)

If you want to prevent a ship from warping, then point it.

That is what I propose.

Afterwards you can still bump to displace a ship, and you can still point it to prevent a warp.

We already do that since bumping is not tackling. How is this so hard to understand?

How about you tackle them instead?

I already told you we tackle them. Check any given gank fleet and notice how they have points on multiple ships

Then why do you bump them, before the rest of the fleet arrives?

Is it not to prevent them warping?

How can you write hundreds of posts about a topic and pretend to fix something and then ask such a basic question.

Maybe you should join a gank fleet and find out bevore you talk about stuff you have no clue about.

You are like a blind guy who tries to get the wall color changed from blue to green while in reality it is actually red.

Ima, why do you and other people bump?

Why do you do it?

Since you are such an expert, and claim me as so clueless, answer the above questions.

I don’t just claim you as clueless, you clearly are.

I mean how can you even pretend to know what is good for the game if you have no idea about fundamental game mechanics and tactics people use to do stuff.

I have no obligation to teach you how to EVE. Go install the client and try to gank a Freighter. Then come back, link the killmail and tell us why bumping is often used in ganking Freighters. Also maybe inform yourself about the whole insta-undock thing, it looks like that’s a blind spot as well.

Otherwise please just stop talking about something you have no clue about. It’s just annoying for everyone who wants to have a real discussion with other people who actually play the game.

@Ima_Wreckyou , its not a difficult question for such an expert as you to answer:

Why do people bump?

Because it’s allowed

Why do you incessantly ignore the facts?

Why do bad posters post?

Heh.

Nobody wants to admit it, by answering it.

I could explain EXACTLY why people bump as it currently is, but its far funnier to watch ya’ll dance around to avoid answering that.

Makes your biased self-interest all the more obvious.

You just cant/wont answer it, will you.
To do so, would be to show I am right

Enlighten us if you know why people do it.

That’s trolling fam
Ty for confirming youre only here for that
