make that 1053 DPS now, with a certain variant. I can see why some use them for ganking. With 2300 Alpha, almost twice as much as a Catalyst. With a few tweaks you can get Heavy Neutron Blaster to fire up to 11km with void. Though personally I prefer the 900 DPS laser version which has much better range.

It is not DPS what makes Gnosis interesting for ganking. It is its tank and amount of mid slots plus his cost. Additionally it is the non skill requirements, which then makes it a choice for beginning gankers who don’t want to or can’t afford to skill inject their new accounts.
