Conflag and Scorch are instantly interchangeable…no reload time. And the crystals last a long time. Not as much DPS as Void with blasters, but then Void and Null have a lot less range. Hmm…Gnosis with Conflag is 900DPS and 20km range…with Heavy Neutron Blasters and Void it is 1152 DPS, but only 10km range. In both cases using the same range extender script. I actually have both variants in dock. In my view the doubling of range makes the 78% of DPS for the laser worth it.

I guess it would depend on the use. Like Ax’l Thorne said, some ships and ship fitting are optimal for given situations, it isn’t one size fits all. Sometimes you’re going to need more range and other times more dps and knowing when is a big part of playing.

The resistance profile of the target is much more important than the general DPS/Range difference of Lasers vs Blasters. I have done some ganks in Coercers with Conflag and in general I performed comparable to the guys in Catalysts.
If the target has a known or assumed T1 shieldtank (or otherwise an EM hole), Coercers are even preferred by professional gankers quite often.

Nowhere does it say Void ‘is’ antimatter. Variations just show you the T1 and Faction ‘equivalents’.

The fact that Void ( and Javelin ) can be used with Blasters and Railguns prove that Voids are Hybrid weapons based. All Hybrid weapons fire Antimatter charges.

That definitely doesn’t use Hybrid weapons and charges.
Artillery is projectile, rough and unsophisticated like the Minmatar.
i know fairness does not exist in eve ( means only pvp ) but you still can diskuss it xD
the ammunition of artillery is bigger then your hybrid weapon

Hybrids fire plutonium, iron, yada yada, as well. Even the Eve Wiki page doesn’t say that Void ‘is’ antimatter…it just says there is normal, faction, and T2 ammo. If there’s a page somewhere that says ‘Void is a special kind of antimatter’…it is very elusive. I mean I can see people assume it is…but I cannot find any page that specifically says so.

It’s already been widely agreed, till people are blue in the face arguing over it, that it is fair. There was never really an argument in the first place as ganking has been a standard part of Eve for years. I do disagree that it is the ‘only’ fair content though.
