I’m in mission 5/5 of the Exploration tutorial. It says to go to a gas cloud it created. It also gave me a Gas Passkey. Do I need to have all the skills and gas cloud scoup, ship, etc. to do this? I’m thinking not, because a newb is not going to be able to afford these things.
Basically, it doesn’t give any hint about where to locate this training gas cloud.
There’s a Gas Cloud Training Site signature you scan down and enter, like the previous steps. The step completes once you’re in the site. If I recall correctly there is some actual gas you could mine if you really wanted to, but it’s very little.
I don’t have any equipment for mining gas. Does this require any kind of analyzer like the data and relic missions?
No, you just activate the gate while the key is in your cargo, enter the site, the game tells you This is what a gas cloud looks like, well done. and that’s it, you’re done.
