Ive found that if you can do 4 or 5 things in game that are both entertaining and fun, applicable to what you want to do and make you income youll be pretty much nerf proof as you can switch between them if things go wonky after a particularly heavy nerf bat swing. One trick ponies will often find that everything they have will go quickly when the winds of change blow.
