Personally, have never understood why someone would grind out the time to get a sub. When you can pay for it and be done with it. My time in game, In my opinion, is a lot more valuable than giving any game company my time.
I exchanged my time for money, before I retired, to enough companies. I see no reason to continue to do that for any game that no matter how much I enjoy. I am not going to exchange my time to pay for a sub. I play to enjoy. That is all I willing to exchange my time for any gaming company.
But that is me.

Why should they sell Omega for PLEX/irl money then? Might as well be free, thatās what youāre asking.
But you donāt want to spend money, you want a subscription for minimal time and effort.

They nerfed thats aswell after nullblock crying 
Gas needed to drop it was making everything way too expensive.
CCP is reducing the cost of multiple things ,all our ships will become cheaper after a few months its a good change.
Mineral prices drop
Moon ore price drop
Gas needed drops
Itās a good thing, having less income as a result is fine as long as our buying power is more.
Also buying the monthly with in game isk is a reward for being great at the game not something that should be available to everyone.
If It was easy for everyone to grind out the monthly the price would just keep going up, hence inflation so use your brain a little bit think outside of your box and look at the bigger picture a few years down the line instead of right at this moment.

People can make jokes about the OP all they want but the fact is this stuff is costing CCP money in the end. Any good company would want to hear complaints like this aswell. I heard no complaints before this expansion. So basically itās number g knows what to manipulate the sandbox economy.
I for one know at least 5 or 6 people that quit playing with scarcity which paid at least two omega accounts. I myself pay for 3 omega accounts and i quitte playing for two years at the end of scarcity when they nerfed the resistances. While I love the game and returned I have not been able to convince them to return even though they happily paid for two accounts before. I also notice relic sites seem to be nerfed. I play for fun and just hoard the stuff mainly and if I sell everything and together with the plex i have i would be able to run a account just on plex for free for at least 5 years but I might aswell just quitte to. Itās destroying the fun. At least it does for me to.
Literaly almost everything I maxed out the last 6 years got nerfed. From drones, to resistances to capitals/super. The most recent addition is the triglavian nerf just after i got everything triglavian level 5 on three characters and now the relic sites in wormholes after i got everything scanning to level 5 on 3 characters.
And if I already know so many people a lot of people must have done the same.
They tend to nerf things after you people Bot/Camp/Farm it 24/7. You have only yourselves to blameā¦

I play very well balanced even when I had a super I didnt use it much as i was mainly doing destroyer fleets. And I also spend about half the time helping newbroās via the help channels. And even though I have three omega acocunts. I probably multibox like twice a year, so hardly a farmer. So you canāt really say that about me.

Iāve been playing EvE so long one of my alts would a legal adult in every civilized country on Earth. I have read this so many times that I instantly stopped reading and dismissed anything else you had to say.

Edit: You would not believe some of the stupidity thatās been attached to the words āis costing CCP money,ā and usually in the same thread as a complaint about the number of multiboxers.

It really has nothing to do with subbing omega. I never subbed omega and I mine gas all the time. The market seems saturated with gas. Could be all those people watching YouTube and reading titles āMake hundreds of millions of ISK mining gas!ā. Some rando in rookie chat this week asked, āHow long before I can AFK this game?ā I told them, mining gas inside a WH is pretty much AFK. Although my preferred method is low security gas mining. I donāt think they took me serious.
My point being, if you tell everyone and their cousin, gas huffing is the way to get rich, what do you think will happen? Market saturation will happen. My advice to @Dess_Hollen and everyone else is the following;
- If you continue to mine gas, store it at dock and sell it later.
- I still havenāt tried Abyssal Space, but YouTuber AceFace swears you get rich in those 3 level dungeons.
- Try some contract shipping, PvP, PvE, or other aspects of the game you have yet to explore.
- Take a break from playing, go outside and get some sunā¦ unless you live in India were the +50c heatwave is killing people. If I were in India, I would explore some caves instead.
The only thing I canāt try, as an alpha account, is the ice mining. Ice hasnāt dropped in price. Most ice does seem to fluctuate much at all.

Itās not because in Eve everything is long term. And if CCP is constantly manipulating the economy this is becomming a trust issue (you canāt just swap months of training to something else without a huge loss). I know first hand many people that quitte and didnt return because of this. Itās basically just a big screw you to people harvesting myko. They could also moved the need from the ships to for example the new structures. And in case you think this is a personal interest. Iām huffing mainly fullerite which have not been affected and in 15 years i probably harvested myko like 3 times.
Yea, I mean its Eve thou putting all eggs in one basket is the best way to get screwed.
Iāve also had to transition many times due to nerfs.

Because thereās not fifty other things to do until the market restabilizes around the new meta. You know meta, the thing PvPers have to contend with all the time when they find out their skills are now useless in the new meta? Like when youāve spent months training Caldari, missiles, and shields only for the new meta to suddenly shift to Amarr, lasers, and armor? Please, no oneās joining your little pity party over that one, because everyone gets it from time to time, itās just your turn this time, so deal with it.
No you donāt, you can stop with the theatrics. Even if they do exist, the people quitting over gas priceas are not even a statistical blip on the login chart, not with all the other issues the whiney and entitled have here.

The Meta changed. So what? Every game that I play has at some point where the Meta has changed.
An MMO is not some boxed game that only in a the second installment of the game there might be a change. I point this out as you seem to be unaware that MMOās are always going to change the Meta at some point.
It is why I always try to not get caught up in what is the best at the moment. Huffing gas was your bread and butter. Something that you depended on to pay for your Omega. Fair enough.
Now the Meta has changed. It was always going to happen at some point. It caught you out. This happens to everyone at some point. It has caught me out in one game or another. Even though I try not to get caught up in the latest Meta.
These things happen. Instead of being butt hurt and complaining. Find out what is going to work. My suggestion and that is all it is. a suggestion. Is to widen your skill base. Maybe you might find that even though the Meta has changed. you could still make that much more Isk doing something else. This is New Eden after all. Virtually anything is possible and likely probable.
As for sympathyā¦ Sorry, ran out of that at the beginning of the post.
