Getting bumped in a freight highsec should make the bumper flagged

Suicide point.

Currently operates is that they just bump and then log on a fleet. They will have to be actually logged in and playing.

I see what you are saying however removing or adjusting bumping would make you be more selective, and give people a window to rush through. But in any case I am sure you guys can log them out and log in another batch of gankers on the same account, but you might need to get a more participative fleet.

The majority of players I have spoken to in AG find bumping over powered. I would consider this a rebalance, it would be down to you chaps whether it was a win or not.

New players would actually get more of a look in, in my view, in any case they can still miner gank.

Overall I think this ability to just hold what takes your fancy while you get a fleet together rather lame and unbalanced for hisec haulers.

But thanks for the reasonable reply even if we disagree. o7

PS This is great all these hidden replies, 6 now LMAO.

One day a carebear decided to play EVE Online. He wanted to scare all the other bears, so he thought long and hard about a good name. Why not combine the names of his two childhood heroes, DRACula and VLAD the Impaler?

Thus was borne DRACVLAD, half care, half bear.

Imagine being so defeated by the eve forum that you block 90% of it because their facts are hurting your precious feelings

The most hilarious thing is he is gonna read every reply and post in here anyways because he can’t help himself. He needs to get back at code for destroying him in game and on the forums so many times :joy:

You’ll only be talking to yourself very soon. That doesn’t mean a win.

They were not talking to me they were ranting and projecting their own personal issues on me, a bit of a difference imo. I am happy to talk and to discuss, but these people don’t do that. And I am no longer interested in wasting time replying to them. I am so glad CCP have put this functionality in the forums, I wanted it back for a long time.

Two more hidden replies yay!!! And a third one from the most salty of all.
Four hidden replies YAY!!!

He is only here to rant and vent anyways.

So I take it Widdle Draccy is trying to take over Holeysheet1’s title of Biggest Asshat In EVE?

I guess CODE needs to pay him some Special Attention again.

For about six months straight.

When you realise that this style of gameplay is what makes EVE great, then you will realise why it is important for it to remain.

Me bull, you freighter.

I for one look forward to bump teams, who will sandwich a target between a bumper and a high-DPS machine to righteously smite the inconsiderate selfish freighter pilot.

Or, perhaps this very old, well recycled idea has not been thought through?

All ship collisions should have a suspect flag, especially outside of stations

There are game features that will prevent the this and most can be found out through this very forum.

Have a Corp set Legal combat.
Use other members to web the freighter from many angles and then warp to the next gate after the freight enters warp.

The freighter might take a little longer to align though the freighter will also have guards/support.

If all else fails use Red Frog Freight!

Or remove bumping from the game. Running a space ship into another with 0 dmg is unrealistic.

Your logic is sound, but removing bumping is not the solution - the obvious solution is to make bumping cause damage, with all the consequences thereof.

So, keeping in mind ships crash into each other all the time at stations and in other legitimate situations what exactly would you have happen when two or more ships crash into each other?

Saying “Remove Bumping” is easy, the hard part is coming up with real solutions instead of rhetoric.
