Two things… One, you may wish to ask this in the PvE Ships and Modules subforum to receive better responses.
2ndly, the gnosis is fairly unique in that it can use and is bonused equally for all weapons. As an alpha, you are currently restricted to one racial skill set. What is that set for you?
