It was not enough to remove the need for capital ships to require gas, which caused prices to drop dramatically.
Now to further improve the gaming experience, the developers have decided to make it almost impossible to find a gas cloud in low security systems (except the chemical labs!).
Yesterday, I searched 30 or more systems and found only clouds in 2 of them.
Today, I’ve done about 20 searches on different systems and only found a level 1 gas cloud.
Thank you developers for inviting people to leave this game. You do it better and better if that is your goal.
You must be in the wrong system, yesterday I was out with a friend. He was scanning while I scooped. He was knocking out the azure gas quicker than I could scoop. He had some mission to enter a mess of gas sites and invited me along for the ride. He added me to his bookmark access list and had 2 marked in 2 different 0.4 systems before I arrived.
I suspect Monday people were too busy with faction war to care about the gas? Maybe Tuesday is gas mining day? I noticed the dip in price but they seem to be on the rise again. If this is really “goodbye” as you said in your title, I won’t ask for your stuff. Maybe you should donate it to Mike for the MSB program.
It has a HUGE mistake to introduce gas in the wider industry to begin with. It ruined everything, but that is typical for a Ratattati-Psych development pattern. Now there’s a ginormous oversupply and prices are in the gutter for years.
“I’m Leaving Eve” to become an object type that can be obtained in game and used, presumably, to delete all of a player’s assets and donate their entire ISK balance to Thukker Mix or some other random corp upon double click of the object (without “are you sure?” confirmation) and then set the character to biomas and log the player out.
You should do as all those other “i made millions,billions” and start a pod cast. Or a seminar which cost some $300 - $500 where you tell others how to make money…
