I’ve scrolled this forum and seen some great guides. I’ve also done a lot of googling and there is so much info it’s overwhelming. Anyways I am new to Eve. I have about five hours game time and so far I’m loving it. Gonna make it my second job. I intend to look through many guides, alot of which I have already found on this forum, but what I’m wondering is if you guys have any favorites that you swear by.
My main interest is building wealth. Mining, working the market etc but I’m open to any great guides. I am not however willing to pay for one. Thank you guys in advance.
That’s a bad plan.
That’s probably a figure of speech, no need to be overly confrontational with enthusiastic new players…
@Ehl_Aivo It all depends on how intense you want to get into industry, but I like delonewolf and eve-mogul on youtube. @Jin_taan also recently started a pretty cool series on economics that’s worth watching.
These got me started.

If you have some starting capital, trading is a great way.
Otherwise, PI is a somewhat decent passive isk maker. I only make about a hundred mill profit a week on each of my characters that do PI, and spend maybe 10-15 minutes a night on each one in order to shuffle stuff around.
Industry is a mixed bag, if you have the starting capital to begin with industry, you can make so-so isk, but a lot of it is low margin skill intensive sort of things.
The easiest, safest and best way to make isk is by far, joining a large corp or alliance and go out to nullsec. But its not for everyone.
