Even smaller containers are sufficient for garment or blueprints.
Just like in RL: You don’t need a to deploy a container if a drawer is enough

I use the containers to seperate the items I reprocess/sell from the items I fit ships with from ore from the free stuff I get for logging in and so on.
It helps to sort things out quick instead of using the filters which aren’t ideal.
Contract all of your unused assets to your alt pilot that you can then store until you require those items back.
