Have you seen Salvos, or Teckos?

criminal code:

3 Subsection 318(4) of the Criminal Code is replaced by the following:
Definition of identifiable group
(4) In this section, identifiable group means any section of the public distinguished by colour, race, religion, national or ethnic origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or mental or physical disability.
1995, c. 22, s. 6
4 Subparagraph 718.‍2(a)‍(i) of the Act is replaced by the following:
(i) evidence that the offence was motivated by bias, prejudice or hate based on race, national or ethnic origin, language, colour, religion, sex, age, mental or physical disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression, or on any other similar factor,

so it would fall under the “sex” I believe. It is just part of criminal code I don’t know what penalties are for those, but I need a Canadian to spoke about it to be sure.

So you don’t think that having it defined in the criminal code is relevant at all to there being penalization? Oh my…

That’s Canadas legislation against advocating for genocide.

So basically it means that now you may also not advocate genocide based on gender expression.
Sorry.

Well it took me 30 seconds to check the law and I’m not even from Canada: it’s legislation against advocating for genocide. What’s the problem? Do you feel deprived of your rights to call for mass murder of people based on how they see themselves?

oh they will correct you. All this because some group of society don’t feel well under the current language standards.

Capitalism is not a good idea or a good thing. It is a naturally occurring process which works from the bottom up. What we have to do is to understand an regulate it so that it can be harnessed to increase wealth and prosperity. I agree that we are not there yet but it’s also not as catastrophic as some people make it look like.

The problem with all those top down planed alternatives is that they just dont work and human history is full of horrible suffering because of communistic systems which all end in totalitarianism.

@Dracvlad did you just like my posts? Was that an accident?

It is because I actually agree with what you wrote.

Who with common sense do that anyway? People do not born evil they become one, and that kind of law will make more evil ones. You can’t change human approach to minorities by making stupid laws. Forcing respect? Did that ever go well?

I don’t recall ever calling for genocide of anyone, please point out where I have and come back to me.

The issue is that if you use the wrong word and I think there are now about 40 such words for gender you can be criminally prosecuted for hate speech for that. So I have no idea where you connect genocide to that.

In the UK at this point you can be persecuted for hate speech if the police feel that it is hate speech even if the people who were affected by it did not think it was.

I am a white middle aged male, perhaps I ought to go kill myself now for the benefit of all others…, would that make you happy, but I was trying to explain to you how the law works because you appear to have no idea.

Nope. Capitalism started with what historians call the initial accumulation, which was basically to rob, murder, burn down and destroy any small scale competition. In some places of the world you still have that, mostly when there are remnants of feudal economy.

Capitalism happened bacause of several favourable factors, which created a class relatively rich people who didn’t have the political power despite becoming economically stronger and stronger. Over the course of about 100 years they grabbed the political power, expropriated the masses of the little they had and forced them to be slaves for the wage.

Since then we’ve gotten a lot of polish on that, a few attempts to overthrow this fked up system led to more democracy, pre-descants of communists abolished child-labour and such.

Oh, stop with the drama already.

Capitalist systems all end the same, for the same reason. The only difference being that it isn’t the government oppressing you, but the corporations.

That was a joke, not a very good one, perhaps you can use hate speach against me for it, this is also a joke!

And I am out of here, and @Ima_Wreckyou you are talking total sense about capitalism.

I am really astonished about how this thread goes. Maybe the ISDs haven’t finished their popcorns yet?

Question is where is Teckos?

My money is on either vacation, or he’s fed up with the illiteracy of the common forum poster these days.

No seriously, where to you get that from. This is complete rubbish. We are clearly not talking about the same thing. At this point I think we are probably not even living on the same planet.

When I say capitalism then I mean a system of private property and voluntary exchange as it naturally occurs in every society.

No, you equate capitalism which is a simple process with an establishment. That is absolutely not the same.

You are fighting windmills
