one thing i am noticing and you all maybe know about is… to stop anyone claiming a kr that player will get a kr with an alt and make it a stupid high price like 10b isk
When the KR price is reasonable, it usually ends up being used up by an alt of the character who has the killright on them. So, the system doesn’t work either way.
Btw it is unimportant who pays for the KR, the goal of the seller is to get a reasonable amount of ISK in exchange of the KR, nothing else.
Whether a hunter pays for it or the target itself through an alt doesn’t matter for the seller. Thus the system works if the owner sets a reasonable price for it.
The system is there to provide a killright for sale, nothing more.
If the seller wants to actually kill the target (himself or with the help of someone else) then they can assign it to a specific person, even just mere seconds before the hunter wants to activate it (requires some cooperation) but that is a specific use case instead of what a KR is generally for (grant the seller ISK in exchange of the KR where in general it matters not who pays for it).
