It is new system of playerbase exploitation, not your usual Storyline/RP/NPC/Missionratdifficulty way of dealing with content.
If you go into Pochven and exclusively attack Sleeper and Rogue Drone forces and never attack EDENCOM or Trig, you will gain with both. Neither Trig, nor EDENCOM like either Sleepers or Rogue Drones, therefor losing standings with those factions increases standings with both EDENCOM and Triglavians.
Do the Sleepers and rogue drones absolutely need to be destroyed in Pochven to gain standings with the Triglavians and EDENCOM?
Reliable people have reported a variety of results. It is unclear what the rules are - or whether there are any consistent rules.

Probably the difference in results can be attributed to observation being limited in viewpoints, not omnipotent.
I guess my real question is, can I simultaneously gain standings with the Triglavians and EDENCOM without entering Pochven? If so, is that an exploit?
You can shoot drifters inside the five drifter wormholes, I think that works.
The standings could be bugged and inconsistent.
That’s… unlikely as that’s not how bugs tend to work, and we’d probably see it on other NPC’s also if that was the case.
I mean it’s in theory possible, but it would be a very odd bug.
More likely it’s to do with NPC’s getting killed out of the persons sight, even if it is by other NPC’s.
Depends on whether or not the code is ad hoc or properly refactored. Inconsistency bugs are common given code duplication.
Rogue Drones and Drifters outside of Pochven do not seem to be eligible for standings changes. The instructions from Zorya was only within Pochven and EDENCOM secured systems.
Are there rogue drones and/or Drifters in EDENCOM secured systems that can be used to increase standings with EDENCOM and the Triglavians?
Scratching my head . . . why does Edencom care so much about the drifters in Pochven?
Because it allows all the Trig supporters to negate the only consequence of ripping highsec apart, while leaving EDENCOM supporters nothing equivalent of course.

No. They come into Pochven only when it is connected to Drone Lands and Wormhole space.
CCP wants you in Pochven, on Omega character. Because you pay them that way, and you have to play the chores so they have numbers to show.
You are a number in their statistics.
You are a number they want to manipulate.

This makes it sound like being required to pay money for playing was a bad thing.
It does make not being required (Alpha) seem wierd tho.

Some dillweed was up at 730am this morning using a chainsaw in my street and rather than go out and give him an earful, apparently I opened EvE-O Forums and typed that.
