If you were actively serving in the U.S. Navy, the four personalities that you identify as, based on your characters in-game bio, would been the reason why you were discharged. I am certain that you are rotating your personalities based on the characters that are part of your bio.
Glenduil is known as The Smuggler, The Joker, The Wanderer, and The Criminal
There are no such things as being known for someone you are not when serving in the U.S. Navy.
If you want to be in the U.S. Navy, go sign up and serve in the U.S. Navy.
My dad was in the navy and my grandad was in the army. Personally I doubt our warhero was though as in the navy, due to his personality he would most likely be thrown overboard and used for target practice , but there is nothing wrong with him roleplaying in a game.
Dooing a quick google search , and seeing that he spent 5 years training to be a programmer, he had better hurry if he wants to be a Navy Seal as the age limit is 28
In the US though, so as the forum software plus database and CCP as a company operates outside of it it might not be the case, depending on international treaties and whatnot.
Nope, if someone is pretending to be a U.S. service member outside of the U.S. that is grounds for investigation in actually spying and collecting data for a foreign threat force.
Still only US law unless international treaties make it a crime in other nations. Of course the US can enforce it outside their borders but that doesn’t mean it is not a breach of international law unless as mentioned there is a treaty that permits such.
It’s understandable to feel frustrated when freighter losses seem effortless, but the mechanic is working exactly as intended: high-sec has rules, not guarantees, and those who choose not to engage in the cycle of risk, awareness, and deterrence inevitably become targets for those who do. The penalties for ganking are calibrated to create consequences without removing the danger that gives New Eden its character, and multiboxed strikes—while dramatic—still rely on the victim presenting an unprotected opportunity. Freighters can operate safely in high-sec, but doing so has always depended on preparation, escorts, scouting, and not assuming immunity. The system isn’t being abused—it’s simply being used by players who embrace the harsher side of the sandbox.
Our Warhero seems to have a need to prove himself and a big chip on his shoulder.
Boasting about being in the navy to justify his game expertise seems odd , as does savagly attacking anyone who questions his service. His claim to have 3 degress also seems doubtful considering his contempt for those with higher education and taking 5 years to become a programmer.
His Ad Hominum attacks cast further doubts on his claims.
This is the key part of all this in my opinion, there will always be a steady stream of pilots who don’t talk to anyone or read anything, they buy freighters and pack it to the brim and fly through hi-sec.
The thing is freight pilots could well survive an attack with an escort which includes Logi, The only time you will ever see me in a freighter is when I am part of such a fleet, otherwise it’s never going to happen.
What we have to understand is that Eve will make these ships available no problem, it’s up to the pilot to investigate what they are getting into.
How are breachers nerfed? Does anyone have the new maths? How many Cenotaphs required for a freighter after the change and where is the new break even point?
I mean, i can wait for zkillboard giving me the new indication, but maybe some sane values are known already.
I think they had a high-damage cap of 1.000 DPS for 75seconds before and are now reduced to 750 DPS for 60seconds. So from 75.000 total raw HP on a target (given maximum application) down to 45.000 raw hit points.
