I hope that CCP isn’t that foolish.
And by such CCP justifies their complaints as if there was no issue with ganking CCP would not nerf it. ![]()

Haha good argument. The issue isn’t ganking but the small but vocal crows that opposes it and constantly spam the forums and probably reddit too (which I don’t like and use so just guessing here) and who drives new players out by shaming the game and giving bad reviews.
All they need to do is to start moderating at least forum where they can do something against this endless spam. Instead they foolishly cater to this crowd via ganking nerfs only for them to cry more and louder.
Anyway, to counter your argument. If CCP though that there is something wrong with ganking they would remove it completely instead of throwing bones in form of small nerfs here and there.
Be careful. ![]()

Installing Billboards outside every asteroid belt to offer something to watch while mining.
Gate campers have this, so why can’t Miners get a billboard!
As Aiko would likely say: Probably because nobody cares about miners. ![]()

It’s hard to even imagine how much it would mean for us if gankers notice miners who regularly seek attention.
Because they were, if you “click” you caused an action, the thing I can’t grasp is why people actually get an emotion out of it.
Because it’s a game.
The thing I can’t grasp is why people start ascribing morals to actions in a game.
It’s not a leap to grasp, would you play chess with someone who tips the board over for no reason except an impulse?
No-one’s tipped EVE over. But we DO have people who think it is morally wrong for a Bishop to take a pawn.
I wouldn’t play chess with someone who flips the board, because that’s not part of the game. Ganking in Eve is an intentional part of the game. Do you spend time in COD lobbies lecturing and pontificating on how bad people are for shooting each other in the game? No you don’t, because shooting people is part of COD. Even though shooting people is morally reprehensible in real life, you don’t ascribe morals to it in COD, because it’s a game.
We do have to love your irony here. In chess, someone who flips the board does so because they’re emotional about the game, and usually losing. In Eve, when someone gets emotional because they’re losing the come to the forums and ascribe morals to actions that are part of the game.
Your posts are the Eve equivalent of flipping the board in chess.
He’s basically this ages old meme:
They just try to hide behind whatever excuse because they are bad at the game and don’t bother improving either. These people never change and are the same every generation. ![]()

You are assigning that bad to the other.
I simply said I wouldn’t want to play or interact with a person who acts on impulse, and impulse itself is neither inherently bad nor good.
The action caused by that impulse can be a negative or positive towards another, that is up to the other person to decide.
I’m finding it’s actually rather difficult to find a good system to be regularly be ganked.
Like even lowsec pilots are not fully interested in ganking a high sec miner!
Sometimes they bite but still highsec is way cooler
Not sure what’s more idiotic:
(1) you ranting about having to do this before as if you expect me to know or care who you are on this forum
Or,
(2) that you claim things are idiotic without explaining what you’re talking about, and, expecting me to believe you.
Do you have any evidence that it was “intentional?” I keep hearing this claim without an argument. We all know people like to cheese games, especially hard ones. Its just as likely that ganking is just a form of egregious multiplayer cheesing that no one expected.
Notice how im not trying to nerf or ban ganking in the original post, but you naysayers have reacted as if i did. I will attack the personality of people that would commit their time to egregious cheesy ganking, but I never asked for anyone to nerf it. Just make it harder to sell the cargo. Wanna gank? Come to low sec and try to sell it. Oh wait, you can ONLY gank….not survive in low sec.
What you just said was wrong.

You’re not even a lowsec pilot.
Was really hoping to be friends .
You mean beyond the Devs stating as much every time they make a change to the game in their futile quest to find a balance that will finally make the carebears stop crying without completely removing it?
‘You’ have been in EVE 10 years yet I see zero evidence that you have ever undocked, let alone been to lowsec. I simply don’t believe anyone can be active in EVE over 10 years and yet have absolutely zero killboard. If you want to lecture others on PvP….how about there being some indication that you yourself have ever actually done any ?
