People seem to have come here saying “I play the game this way and it’s no fun”
I’ve then replied “You’re doing it wrong” which I feel is justified, I do not play the game that way and I have fun playing the game, they are not having fun playing a game and thus, by definition are doing it wrong.
I do not mean to censure any style or method of gameplay, I have no opinion on how you should do things. But I do think having fun while playing a game is the point.
People in this thread seem to be not enjoying a style of gameplay which I also would not enjoy, and thus I have opined that that is the wrong way to do it. Perhaps I should have been wordier and thus clearer.
If you are enjoying your style of gameplay then you are doing it right, regardless of what that style is.
My comment wasnt pointed directly to you. Its pointed to every person thats actually stated it, meant it. Context or not…..im growing weary of the whole mentality.
My comment was made generally…and i wont explain context….i dont need to…the people that actually say it seriously know who they are.
Sure they are, but if they’re not enjoying it then they are doing it wrong.
Personally I don’t get much enjoyment from billions of ISK in a wallet. Glenduil was talking about the way to get rich, I think if your goal in EvE is just to get billions of ISK in a wallet then you probably won’t have much fun.
Perhaps I’m mistaken, and if there are people who are multiboxing 10 accounts just to get rich and enjoying seeing the number go up, fair play to them.
Well i have read a lot of comments here ( what is good… a lot of people with a lot of opinions ) . But let me give everyone here a word…>>
Continuity is good; but if one side gives everything while the other side only takes, the system breaks.
Continuity is fine, but it should never come at the player’s expense.
many don’t read and just give there own opinion , and that’s fine too.
many read and see the big picture in a more or less way ..also fine.
it`s all about Continuity
For/ from the people who are making this game , playing this game, or coming back after 6 years …
some fall ,some adapt ,and some keep playing the way they have always done .
but the bottom line is simple, Continuity counts for everyone.
And i hope for all the players in null and wormholes that continuity also counts for them …
This was a tough pill to swallow when I returned - I had a character that couldn’t fly ANYTHING in my hangar except a shuttle. I re-sub’d mainly to check out the new stuff. Now that I have, I’m not sure how long I’ll stay - I’ve had to go back to mining to afford new shinies. It’s not all bad, just not as fun and engaging as I’d like.
The new ORE missions were awesome though - I’d like to see more of that around the other parts of the game.
