You claim that this is their choice. This is just obviously stupid.
If they complain about something, and they claim it should not be like this.
It means they obviously did not know it was like this. That they did not choose this.
You are making them culprit of choices they obviously did not make. That’s being dishonest with an agenda, that’s propaganda. Hypocrit as ever.
They absolutely did choose this. This is a game. No one’s sending anyone down a mine shaft at gunpoint. A person has to manually download it, create an account, go through the tutorial, etc. etc. Everything with regard to EVE is a consequence of personal choice.
No one’s going to care how much you try to excuse their ignorance. This is like someone deciding to take part in a porno for the free sex, and then complaining when they find out that they got filmed.
Good luck with that.
While this is a nice, romantic sentiment, it ignores the fact that people who are able to defend their stuff properly tend to not live in high-sec to begin with.
High-sec, aside from some industrial alts, has two main groups of people: the carebears grinding away at rocks and missions, and players like me, who harvest them for profit.
Carebears take the path of least resistance and least engagement, always. They never band together to achieve anything of note, because their mentality is “I’ll let the others take care of the problem, while I’ll secretly keep mining, he he !!”
Unfortunately, you’re too busy trying to get a dig in against CODE. in order to see the reality of the situation.
Implied consent is consent which is not expressly granted by a person, but rather implicitly granted by a person’s actions and the facts and circumstances of a particular situation.
In this instance their action is logging in to a game which is well known for being orientated towards PvP, the facts and circumstances are that Eve is a PvP orientated game that they have logged in to play.
And you who only recently came back to the game have no idea that this is happening. I on the other hand have been operating with people like that and see it. Keep doing the anti-carebear rant, it suits you.
To me Aiko is a lame farmer, the dig is based on Aiko being on and active when my alliance removed their Fortizar in Niarja when you were not playing by the way, Aiko did not even come to help defend it but blew up some Ventures instead, that was during one of the armour timers by the way. And this person just called for a change to war decs to farm easily.
There are carebear groups banding together and taking out mean griefer pirates in high-sec? Where? I want to see. Link me anything you can, I am dying to read about it.
I am not giving out free intel on these allies. That you are unaware of this is fine by me. I am just telling you that it is happening. If you want to find out do some research.
I WON’T SHOW IT TO YOU BECAUSE IT’S VERY IMPORTANT TOP-SECRET INFORMATION AND YOU’RE NOT A VERY IMPORTANT PERSON WHO’S BEEN AUTHORIZED TO KNOW IT!
YOU’LL JUST HAVE TO FIND OUT ABOUT IT ON YOUR OWN, BUT IT’S DEFINITELY A THING AND I’M NOT LYING ABOUT IT AND IT DEFINITELY EXISTS BUT YOU PROBABLY SHOULDN’T BOTHER LOOKING FOR IT BECAUSE SOMEONE LIKE YOU WOULDN’T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START LOOKING LOL!
It is simply not fair to those people for me to list them on the forums and open them up to more aggression than what they normally get where they are operating.
He is referring to Viirilithizu Ward, Astevon, and Sievert Solutions - none of which has actually done anything, but it’s all Dracvlad has to talk about.
Well, it’s true that I don’t really have a clue as to what those things are, but that doesn’t change the fact that he’s committed like the worst forum argument faux pas that’s possible. I went ahead and quoted his posts because I know that he’d try deleting them after realizing how much of a laughingstock doing something like this makes him.
In the meantime, I’m all ears for a good story if you want to tell it.
