Eve fun has dissipated along with Hilmars fatness.
That will become the norm until they find a way to make that a risk as well. The fix, of course, will be something stupid like âin order to log off, you have to take on the Criminal flag and sit in your logout location with no modules active until it times out, then youâll be logged out, but your ship will remain in space for another 30 minutes with a cynosaural type warp-to beacon.â
I want to party with Hilmar.
Like, I want to go on a literal overnight brennivin-fueled bender with him, and completely mess up downtown Reykjavik. Weâd go to all of the clubs, and do lines of hakarl right off of some Inuit strippersâ asses. In the morning, Iâd wake up outside of Hallgrimskirkja with a bunch of dried-up blood on my face and a pair of scissors stuck inside my shoulder, and have no idea how it all happened or how I got there, while tourists gawk and snap pictures of me. Then Iâd make it back to my hotel room, and find him there, completely sober and multitasking writing poetry while making pitches to Korean investors on Skype. Heâd tell me that my phone has 37 missed calls from my countryâs embassy, but that he took care of it. Heâd ask me if I checked out the Hyperion tattoo I got the night before, and Iâd have no idea what heâs talking about, but when I look, itâs definitely there. Then weâd play Smash on the Switch until itâs time to go to the airport and catch my flight home.
There would be a live polar bear in the bathroom for some reason.
âadaptâ to being at the beck and call of EVE 24/7 just to avoid item loss. Sounds great, for unemployed neckbeards.
The wealthy arenât nearly that interesting. Most of them spend their time literally just daydreaming about how rich they are.
Ah, so youâll be fine then. Good, good.
You kids are the ones advocating for it, so obviously youâre the ones with the most to gain from sitting in your gaming chair 24/7 screaming at your retired mother to bring you hotpockets.
I recently read Everquest 1 has more subs than Everquest 2. I think developers delude themselves into thinking their changes are always progress.
Holy â â â â ivâe got bpoâs and bpcâs scattered throughout 60 stations in high-sec alone, tens of thousands of them. OK looks like its time to start consolidating. Hang on a minute does that mean Jita 4-4 is gonna get stomped? Thatâs one station where I have nothing stored.
Iâm really hoping you are just being funny?
Containers with 1k 10me-10te and 10 runs per copy scattered throughout New Eden. One day iâll start building when i get enough to build a million battleships not including all the tech 2 marauder and blops blueprints I have.
I was talking about the fact that you think this is actually something happening, and that you need to start consolidating.
If they want to deal with NPC stations, the easiest route to destroying all the assets stored for years is to introduce asset entropy. The longer it sits, the more it is subject to degrading over time. Ships lose x% of their effectiveness and defense per year that theyâve sat and not undocked, and require repairs to maintain in 100% shape (isk sink).
Ores lose x% of their reprocessing returns over time.
Same for anything other than special edition commodities, etc.
Considering that theyâre even discussing it again makes me wonder just how much âstuffâ is in storage, and whether or not super high value assets like Guardian Vexors present a coding problem that is keeping them from moving forward in some ways.
With that in mind, theyâll chose to completely wreck the game in order to force the destruction to be via PvP, which will result in Eve Online only being a viable game for corporations that can defend their assets 23/7. Within a couple years, theyâll be scratching their heads on how to fix a game that now has next to no PvP because there is only one alliance that controls all of New Eden.
No one is advocating for it. Just telling the chicken littles to calm down.
Jeez man. My motherâs dead. Why the personal attacks at everyone just to feel superior?
If you had any credibility to start with you would have lost it with this thread.
On the internet, everyoneâs mother is dead, and also a whore, internet 101.
Plenty of kids in this thread and others drooling over the idea of being able to pop assets in NPC stations, the trollgrinning kids.
Despite the upvotes, Solstice used his alts to spam report against this post, as usual.
Yay more destructionâŚ
Where would we be allowed to dock? Or are they going to make it where we can only dock at POS for a charge?
Where would the player manufacture then? In space or He would have to own a structure?
Does CCP only want billionaires to stay in the game? Because I personally wonât pay to dock, repair, insure, redo my hair, stock and manufacture. I can do that in other games for free.
That is like an arcade cabinet, but there you have high scores at least.
