How do I disable the forum profanity filter?

Do you really think people who throw around the word “sociopath” actually know what it means?

Oh Im used to that on these forums.

I just have no idea why he said that, then proceeded to prove my point by telling you snerk “Wars are started on the forums”, asif thats some big thing.

Thats the best laugh I had this morning.

They’re not anymore. The forums suck now.

Obviously the same can be said about you since you keep posting the same pigheaded nonsense over and over again without even reading what’s posted.

CCP said the Eve Online forums are an extension of the game. That’s it, nothing more needs to be discussed about it and since the question of this thread topic has been answered, nothing more needs to be discussed about that as well.

That is definately true

You keep using this word, but I don’t think it means what you think it means.

That’s great, but does it mean SOME of the forums are an extension of the game, or ALL of the forums is an extension of the game?

Yes oh great hall monitor of the EvE forums.

Back on topic, as I have always been in this post: Because parts of the forums are not an extension of the game and provide other services, much like the help channels in the game, and the forums as a whole have one set of rules to configure a profanity filter, the filter has been set to the more protective side of things. This will cause a disconnect from the game in some parts of the forums that are primarily an extension of the game. This is not much different than the help channels in the game as they do not have a filter, but do also prohibit profanity.
