How do people get paid for c5 c6 wormhole ratting?

I mean i know it is pretty lucrative but is it automatic everytime a sleeper is killed that the person in the c5 or c6 wormhole gets paid, or is salvaging necessary? Also, if the dreadnaught is in siege mode and cannot move, is there like a salvage module in the dreadnaughts fit that does it or is it salvaging drone that do it?

WH ratting does not pay any bounty. So if you lose your cargo or can’t loot, all is gone.
In higher level whs, I only witnessed wh ratting in a group/corp with dedicated salvagers, haulers, and sellers including a payment plan for the participants.
