Hello, even if EVE is never going to be as successful as it was 12 years ago CCP should try their best. For example they have a monopoly on the game and it is a lot of peoples hobbies.
What prompted this thread? Little things dont seem to get fixed. For example the Sansha Prison Camp is described as level 5 but its actually 8.
But how do we convince CCP sorting out stuff like this is worthwhile? My argument would be that CCP is a leader and its hard to follow a leader that is seemingly a half ass. Thanks for reading and have a nice day.
It took them 15 years to fix the tutorial so new players would stop asking “How do I mine Tritanium?” ten thousand times a day in Rookie Help chat. I wouldn’t hold my breath…
Just wait for FanFest 2025… to be disappointed (again). It’s going to be at least another year of this post-Equinox stuff. I mean, is anyone really having fun and just chomping at the bit to login - or are most of just going through the motions at this point until our prepaid Omega lapses?
I wish I could be less cynical/jaded, but I’ve seen this pattern numerous times before… Until massive numbers of players protest by either logging out for extended periods or changing their activity to shooting a monument - you probably won’t see the needle move much.
No thanks. That’s how entire franchises get ruined. Take Star Wars, for example. What started out as an unstoppable franchise that every space nerd loved more than life itself, turned into a Disney crapfest that is now crawling along at the bottom of the cesspool…
I think this one comment sums it up best: “The guy they put in charge of running the Star Trek franchise couldn’t be entrusted to run a hot dog stand.”
Well that’s quite a high bar to pass so maybe you could have chosen a mediocre entry to the franchise to compare his creations to and still make a valid point.
