Very good. 
I did the same thing in Jita once. I lost my Legion by thinking a couple of safe spots were good enough. NOPE! I learned from that one.
*That was back when a T3 loss also meant losing skill points. I was not a happy camper for a while, but I got over it.
I’m not bitter, friends. I just envision a different Eve Online in the future.

Well the irony is I knew all about how to create proper safe spots, but I didn’t think I’d need them. I’d usually just run away to Moon 11 after popping a suspect and during the one minute that one cannot dock up, and then warp to the star, and then dock up for the remainder of the 3 minute limited engagement timer. But the baiter ( which is what he was ) later said he saw where I had gone and followed.
A silly loss really…could easily have been avoided.
So now I have half a dozen safe spots in the middle of nowhere, and randomize which one I first go to. And the baiter is in for a surprise next time, as I can now play the shield boosters trick too

I suppose the managerial aspect of running the alliance and corp? It seems mundane but it keeps me busy and it doesn’t bother me. But is that really joy? Ive met a lot of interesting people on my path, for better or worse.
