Yet another of those nonsense type claims that regularly do the rounds.
I’ve regularly flown expensive gankable ships through Uedama, or expensive cargo to Jita. Only last week I transported 2bn worth of goodies to Jita…hundreds of ship modules. I did it all right under the nose of the Uedama and Jita gankers…without being ganked. In fact I did it on the same day Aiko Danuja and a team of 48 or so ganked a hauler carrying 2bn worth of stuff. I’m not going to say how I did it…as that is precisely the counter-play involved.
I’ve also flown expensive ships like my 1.6bn ISK Nightmare through Uedama. It has good EHP ( 150K or so ) but no real defence against a horde of gankers. I suspect a gank fleet of 15 or so could destroy it. Once again…my plan for getting through, and successful implementation, was precisely the counter-play you say doesn’t exist. I’ve even flown my defenceless 500m ISK Guardian through Uedama…and many other such ships, cargo, etc, etc.
Not gonna say exactly how I’ve done it, suffice to say that the best defence against gankers is them not knowing that you are coming.
That sounds like a lot of leg work, might I interest you in a premium hauling permit for a billion isk? No more skulking through uedema you can fly freely and openly with your head held high soaring through the gate as I do.
Not to be confused with a mining permit, as that is a separate piece of paperwork that costs 1 billion.

You can get reduced haulage rates by handing over your hauler with all your goodies inside for safe transport.
