How has piracy been nerfed over the years?

Right, but this is a discussion forum and so discussions happen on it. Having a thread where you say that opposing views are off topic, and you then abuse the flagging system to enforce that, does not seem like it in keeping with the spirit of a discussion forum.

This thread is a good example of how abuse of the flagging system not only goes unpunished but is rewarded. For the record these were the two comments of mine that flag abuse had removed:

Piracy is as alive as ever and has not been nerfed. There just aren’t as many players about and a lot that are still around know all the tricks.

In response to: “’Im a huge proponent for removing all mining from high sec.”

You’re a huge proponent of the game losing even more players? It probably would reduce suicide ganking as there would be far fewer targets to attack. It wouldn’t increase lowsec though. The developers just found out that going “all stick, no carrot” just causes people to leave the game and are now putting nullsec bounties back.
