How many NPC ships to kill to earn +1% in military index

I am not sure what category to put this but I think its more on PVP side than in industry and mining.

I’ve been doing ratting in my main character in sov null. I would like to know how many ships do you need to destroy to get a +1% in military index. Our overall military index at the moment is at level 1 and 14% in lvl 2 since we are newcomers in this space.

I am aware that if you are not doing ratting you will lose 1% military index per hour, but I don’t know how many ships do you need to destroy to earn 1% military index.

I had a better link just 3 weeks ago when I answered this question for someone else but I can’t find the link. Just divide the necessary numbers to get a new level by 100.
