Hey there.
I`m about to upgread to a newer hardware as atm im running all on a 7 yo PC and a 24 inch monitor. so i have found this:
PC:
Intel® Core™ i5-9400 (9 MB Cache)| 2.9 GHz|
RAM 8 GB
Video card: GeForce RTX 2060
And im planning on going one monitor atm, with a possible identical as the 2nd, but the gaming still would be doen on one, with 4 accounts.
Acer XR342CK
IPS / 34 inch
21:9
3440 x 1440 / 1 ms
Any thouhghts on this. I dont need all the top shelf stuff, but would this run 4 acc on semi high settings smoothly?
TY.
What are you trying to do? Mission, mine, or pvp?

Some wh life (up to middle fleet pvp?) and mining / industrie (hauling stuff as well)
My only concern would be the quantity of RAM if you have anything other than EVE running.
You’ll really want 16GB of ram, the rest is more than enough.

If you’re investing in a new computer you will want a minimum of 16Gb RAM for the 64 bit client and make sure you get solid state storage - preferably M.2 NVMe. Otherwise you’ll probably be looking at upgrading again in a couple of years.
Awsoem, ty all for the input!
How about GeForce GTX 1660. it`s a bit downgread from the 2060, but is it still viable?

The 1060 will work for 1440p. 2060 is a better choice if you want high framerate, not really required for Eve since it has a 1 second server tick. Nothing happens faster than that!
Also look at the 1660 super - one of the better values from Nvidia at the moment.

It is downgraded. I’d go for RTX 2060. UserBenchmark: Nvidia GTX 1660 vs RTX 2060 It will be a long term investment. I still run my GTX 1070 from 2016.
Definitely 16 GB RAM for 4 clients.
