How To Wardec Non-War-Eligible Corps

Very happy to see this patched as I expected. Good job CCP.

So it seems my “guess” was rather correct. The issue was with roles. Now, at least, there is a consistency in how things work for deploying corp structures.

Classic TheDrac tomfoolery presenting himself as an “experienced long term player”, yet knowing ■■■■-all.

You ganker fan boyz try so hard, and yet you only make yourselves look foolish, 2nd of Feb was when this first happened, it is now 20th Feb, 18 Days, so within my definition of moving slowly on such fixes.

My comment on it being patched as expected was because I was told to look at the patch notes, so I was expecting it to be patched today.

Played this game 2004-2007 and 2009 to now. The only thing I have not done is live long term in a WH, over to you fruitcake.

From reddit:

No, they didn’t fix it. They tied it t the “Config Equipment” roles which EVERYBODY needs in order to access locked items in station containers/vault/warehouse. They just pretended to fix it… If they REALLY want to fix the issue, it would have been tied to the “Config Starbase Equipment” role instead.

Declaimer: I know nothing about roles.

Well, I guess this is enough for corporations who demanded to fix it.

Actually this is a good point - should definitely be covered by Config Starbase Equipment, which covers Upwell Structures and the like, while Config Equipment is for deployables like MTUs, depots, etc

It is also possible that the dev just typed the wrong name in the patch notes.

Very true

Because that is the way the devs coded it.

Who knows what is in their heads

Your corp is the one guilty of vacuuming up new players and doing nothing at all to help them deal with the actual game.

Your CEO is the one who publicly posts that the way to deal with common EVE concerns is to hide and play another game until the problem goes away.

You also appear unaware of the fact that despite the decline in player numbers, EVE has years yet to run even if CCP continues to be fairly ineffective in improving it.

Certainly, CCP should improve the game to be more welcoming, interesting, and engaging to new players. Spam-cruiting new players into a useless exploitation corp and then demanding they be protected from every bump and scratch and given capitals in high sec isn’t the way to do that.

Wait, are we a useless exploitation corp or are we trying to protect our members from every bump or scratch?

If players don’t enjoy flying with us, they can leave. We don’t trap people, if a person wants to move to another corp that does something else they are more than welcome, and we will be a reference. We don’t even kick people from discord when they leave, they are free to keep hanging out and chatting, there really is no “or else” in our recruitment. And for people who do leave, they are open to return even if they fight against us.

You can literally fly to our HQ and spam local chat about the evils of our corporation, if people want out, they’ll head out. But I promise we have fewer hours of structure shooting per capita than any other groups our size, and our members are allowed to post on the forums without using noobcorp alts, unlike yours.

Exactly what I came here for.

“So first guys, you need the impossible to happen…THEN…”

Not to mention the cost… has anyone actually received an ROI yet??? asking for a friend.

which is now implausible unless you are in a massive C5/C6 wh corp.

That’s untrue.
