Howling Interdictors Update - Now Live on Singularity for Testing

Why does the Flycatcher get its HP bonus from the Interdictor skill but the Heretic gets it from the Destroyer skill?

if the answer is “no”, i would point out we have lowsec-allowed web bubble launchers on both structures and supers.

i’d prefer the answer to be “yes” as that’d give the dictor class a lowsec use. i know i plan on using it if it works.

Is the Web Bubble effect a persistent one?

it explodes, everything in range picks up a 30 second web effect, and then it’s gone? Regardless of where the person webbed is?

The much I like the new gimmicks, I think it doesn’t bring much value if you introduce more niche roles to lowsec fleet PvP. I think this should remain with the primary use of dictors outside empire.

so mass has been increased since eris only currently weighs 1.200.000 Kg not 1.200.000 t? @CCP_Aurora

I’d assume because making that match would have been more disruptive in terms of altering what bonuses were coming from which skills, particularly as not everyone is at level 5.

It is not a bubble, it works more like a command burst (that applies to more than just your fleet mates)

Good to see some love to dictors, although they remain largely a nullsec toy while their various 'ubbles don’t work in low.

On a wider balance issue I would prefer to see a bonus to flat missile damage, rather than exclusive to kinetic on caldari ships, including this one.

It’s not like the other racial ships are limited in a similar way unless I’ve missed something where there are ships with 10% bonus to turret type X IF you use ineffective ammo type Y

I wonder if this new wubble is a test for a new interdiction charge that might go something like this:

A new probe in space with a short delay until it explodes, applying a warp scrambling effect to all nearby ships which lasts for 30 seconds

This is correct. It still takes 60 seconds to reload or switch ammo so you need to make a choice (or bring 2 dictors).
