I didn't Even Fail the Hack

I was warned that there would be consequences for failing the hack in the event site when I warped in. I didn’t fail the hack, and NPCs attacked me anyways. Why? And if this event is meant for say… the Stratios (about the only use for one since the 2 uses of the Stratios were hacking sites with fierce NPCs and claoky hunting in PVP… except the second role it is just worse than a strategic cruiser), shouldn’t there be some warning? At least the lock time of the NPCs should be longer so that people coming in their t1 frigates know “yeah, this isn’t for you.” Perimeter hacking sites are known to have deadly NPCs while pirate ones don’t. But when it comes to event sites, you can’t use past experience.

Recommend reviewing patch notes for these event sites:

What was the site name?

Yeah this is the site. When it mentioned traps, I assumed it meant for failed hacks since a data or relic site outside J-space normally isn’t threatening unless you fail the hack.

In future events, are there any key words I should look out that warns ships can be destoryed for other reasons than failed hacks? Again, with normal rleic and data sites I can just use past experience but with events it’s new every time

Personally I’d expect every future event site has been designed to destroy Capsuleer ships… CCP doesn’t want solo game play, they want massive fleets inflicting maximum ship loss so they can get free advertising from game review news sites…

I hate this philosophy. I don’t mind “three guys can complete 10 sites in the time it takes for 1 guy to solo it” but I hate how much content is just denied to solo play.

In TF2 coordination with your team greatly increases efficiency, but just going for kills can work if you are good enough and your team can accidentally help you without you communicating.

Eve? “Sorry, you can’t do that if your corpmates don’t like the event, so go away”
