You need to pay us, or no more ganking.

Wars in Highsec are rubbish. Mission baiting and allied trades are ok but a bit hit-and-miss.

Suicide Ganking is the only Highsec PvP activity which prevents the region from sliding into the doldrums. I wholeheartedly support and endorse any player who exercises his/her right to blow up any vessel in Highsec at any location (rules apply).

Despite the mewling of the carebears, CCP has continued to permit this play style to join the others in making and sustaining Highsec’s diversity and appeal; that’s why it’s the most populous of New Eden’s regions.

It’s a bit like Salieri, appraising Mozart’s music in the film Amadeus: ‘Displace one note and there would be diminishment; displace one phrase and the structure would fall’.

Remove ganking, and Highsec would be diminished indeed. Remove non-consensual PvP therein, and it’s bye-bye EVE. At least, for me.

Go Gankers! - As the Americans among us might say.

You’ve forgot to state how much. Maybe he will pay you a single thousand ISK for your services.

Maybe you’ll pay me 10 billion isk to shut your mouth.

I like and support ganking, and have even done some myself…though obviously there’s conflicting loyalties when you guys gank a 1.2bn Mackinaw run by Absolute Order as occurred the other day. Somehow I doubt that will get SRP though.

In my view ganking is essential to the game. Nowhere in space should be safe. A highsec without ganking would be utterly boring.

Also, the whole notion that gankers are ‘toxic’ is simply not true. Sure, they engage in destroying ships and a certain level of extortion and pirate roleplay, but I’ve approached people like Aiko Danuja and Jason Kusion and others personally and found them friendly and helpful. These people are doing the game a huge service by generating highsec content.

I may gank some more, though I’m still getting the hang of multiboxing. I also do suspect hunting, which is fun…and hanging around outside Jita is quite daunting.

You ‘consent’ to PvP by the very act of undocking. There is no such thing as ‘non consensual PvP’ in Eve. Nor should there be.

ofc, you’re right, how silly of me, maybe i should say “undesired” combat

Ganking is combat with an undesirable that just happened to be in the wrong place at the right time, enhancing the wealth and prosperity of the ganker.

Sounds like an NPC loot box. :innocent:

I never did ganking. As I define ganking as post Concord and griefing as pre Concord. Even then, I hardly bothered. Just an alpha strike to test my fit. Leave them a burning wreck that they had to repair for being lazy.

A gank a day, keeps the doctor away.

Such a shame that we no longer support gankers.

Such shameful gameplay to attack another pilots ship while they are not at war or flagged suspect.

Does anyone miss ganking if it vanishes?

Doubt!

It isn’t shameful.

Your cowardice is noted however.

@Felix_Frostpacker Else the manager will have a talk with you and you can kiss good bye to your mining permit.

The consequences will be severe.
