I’ve been playing EVE since 2021. I had a good time, but about 1+ year I won EVE. Two weeks ago I came back to the game and wanted to extract skills from my alt accounts.
The first two accounts went well, but during the extraction from the third I was disconnected. AND BAN - Account Security Compromised.
This is an automatic BAN, none of GM gave it to me, I didn’t even get an email from EVE that I was BANNED. It’s been 11 days since I sent a ticket to support and no one has replied to me.
I have about 10 accounts pinned to my email and only one was banned, literally while extracting skills.
Has a similar situation happened to any of you and is there any chance someone could help me?
Don’t think anyone here can help you. Only support can.
My guess is this is some automated security feature to prevent extracting and selling skillpoints when someone hacks your account.
Support will have to confirm whether your access to the account was legit or not, which might take some time and they may not respond until they did so.
When you restore access to your accounts one of rules is: no skill extraction in the first month. They are “monitoring” your activity to check whether your accounts was hacked of not.
Maybe your actions was suspicious enough for the system to block your access.
From what you describe it doesn’t sound like a perma-ban.
Years ago my friend’s on Guild Wars got a ban notice after he was gifted a mercenary pack upgrade. This is what he wrote;
I was given this as a Christmas gift 2011. Right away I wanted to build up a merc army like no other. All eight of my character slots were filled with level 20 characters. Meh, I deleted a few I didn’t care for much. Then I started making PvP characters, saving them as mercs, and then deleted the original PvP. After deleting about 10 or more level twenties, I started playing the game! That’s when Dhuum rose up from the ground and killed me. It was awesome and sick. The reason ArenaNet gave, my account was compromised (aka hacked), some nasty man was deleting all my characters. The ban lasted 24 hours and I had to change my password.
