My point is that once you find a place that people are guaranteed to come through, for a variety of reasons, you can just enjoy the endless content fountain.
The one delusional squid hijacking this thread is FacWarâs biggest lolcow, at least in the GalCal space (canât compete with MILINT, but that one is usually friendly).
His long posting can be summarized as:
- Train into one ship and be able to fly it well
- Scout your opponents, here we reach the decision note:
A. Do I have the perfect counter?
Y/ Undock, fight, gf in local
N/ Dock up, post some inanity in local chat
And, most importantly: - Sit in one system in space that is notorious for welcoming many newer GalMil players, because your shenanigans wonât fly with Sedition (or, before their occupation of Vlil, GoG and GMVA).
- Refuse to contribute to your factionâs fleets (but canât honestly blame Caldari for that, their FCs are godawful).
To the OP, hit up Luican Lockard (Lucian Lockard | Character | zKillboard), heâs forgotten more about solo PvP than this pathetic squid who hijacked the thread will ever learn and overall a gread dude. If you made a mistake of enrolling with the worst militia, itâs wise to un-enroll before contacting him, though.
Fly dangerous, 07.
Someone is salty.
Point on the doll where the mean squid touched you.
Hi there,
Iâve played EvE for a little while now and iâve enjoyed it in all playstyle this game can propose (except mining and manufacturing).
My opinion may not be worth it, but the only thing i can tell you is that the answer is out there, in space. You have a ton of ways to solo PvP, whatever the size of ship you decide to fly, you just canât find the right type of ship, at the right time, in the right place and with the right outcome for you. Solo PvP is just a question of âbeing in the momentâ.
The only thing you have to remember, is that everything is mathematical, and if you want to have a lot of fun, you will have to burn a lot of ships. If you fly a lot, you will increase your probability to have good fights, and with the experience, you will know (/feel) when you have to go for it or to bail.
Just go out there, fly again, again and again. And in the middle of all this delusional mess that EvE can sometimes look like when youâre alone, you will have some of those âmomentsâ that will prove you why you never really quit EvE, and why solo PvP can be so satisfying.
Fly safe and hope iâll cross you some days for a good old 1v1

That, dear Sir, was very well said.
