its often hard to discern fact from fiction, or even true intents from complete lies, but this is something that certainly rings true for many. For some, everything is about them, or so they can’t help but feel in a schizo sort of way. We see this a lot on the EVE forums especially.
Which is why there is incentive to control null space with the lack of certain minerals in highsec, the existence of factional warfare, and the addition of pvp tournament filaments. Finding people who want to PVP in Eve isn’t hard.
100% true, same with all online games. If you had it rough in school + did not do well with the ladies, you’ll find your self in griefing corps/guilds what ever. Some ape part of peoples brains convinces them that they can re live these fantasies of ‘being the tough guy’ online.
Very angry, very depressed, very lonely is how you’d describe 90% of these CODE like incels.

I’d done about 10k ganks before I heard of schmode…based on some video game deity who is a nutter? I’ll take my own version of eve thanks and not ride on the wagon of hooping whackos enjoying a small fraction of a freighter kill. To be remembered in eve you have to think big…not be a parasite in the poo of your old alliance.
Can we just use smart bombs. But I doubt if that’s an effective defense. Accidents may happen…

Had people in my life who are living proof. Same type of people, male and female alike. The proof is public knowledge, especially if we remove the game as the focus point and center it around any other similar social scenario where you can anonymously play the ‘tough guy’ or the ‘bully’ without any consequence.
In reality, if you talk garbage/provoke people in a public space there’s a chance the person on the other end will respond, or possibly knock you to the ground. If you were a beta in school, you’d most likely be a beta as an adult . These types want to experience alpha life without the risk, so they come and flex online. It’s common knowledge to most functioning members of society, it’s nothing new. Been that way ever since the internet became affordable for almost anyone to use.
And lol, we’re on a public forum discussion behavior of toxic beta gamers. You expect their to be written articles to cite? Going to go out of my way to assume you spend a lot of time on Reddit? Just a stab in the dark.

In this game if you have 5.0 security standing does not mean your the good one and when you have -10.0 security is that your the bad one. In null whatever alliance you choose you will not ever be the protagonist, you just pick a side that’s all. Nothing different in highsec. We can’t really judge anyone in this game whatever their playing style or the way they play this game. The only thing that is not allowed or a bad thing is that when someone bully a player outside the game.

Of course we can. And, to be frank, we definitely should. There comes an old Calvin and Hobbes strip into mind with the following conversation:

And don`t get me wrong here. This is not about ganking per se, which is a valid behavior. But trying to rub it in is just pathetic. Sure, we live in the Trump Era, where being pathetic may get you into the White House. But we, as community, should be better than that.

Not an alliance, just a group of people that we have got to know, come and join us in Uedama sometime , last night was good fun , I actually lost count of the failed ganks , then after a while the gankers started to gank us ,which it to be expected, so come along with a cheap ship , we will show you what’s what and have a bit of fun

When you claim anything as a fact, you need to provide the proof of what you are saying. Don’t expect people to even remotely start considering your arguments if you can’t or won’t provide proof of your claims. No one can take you seriously.
How would that work? Wardecs are expensive business. It’s not like A-G has money to burn looted from the burning wrecks of hapless traders and miners
