So Lucas’ argument is something along the lines of: if it is possible to sucide gank a ship then destroying it is just “killboard padding.” Only ganks that require several 100 million isk worth of taloses to suicide gank are acceptable.
Oh, and everybody who isn’t flying at least a tanked skiff is off limits because they are probably a new player. Also, some vague allusions to the Code not being followed by Code agents.
You stated that “Newer players who don’t yet minmax are the players most likely to be ganked”. That’s it. Nothing more beyond that is what I looked at, because you pointed to the killboards as the evidence that supports that.
Players that don’t minmax sure. The data supports that clearly and has for years. But where’s the proof of the new player aspect of that, being the most likely to be ganked. That’s where the data doesn’t show that.
So show me the analysis that does support it from the killlboards.
sigh i was trying to not get into an involved argument but im Scottish and is hogmany or so and i may be tipsy. I dont kill ap rookie ships for KB padding as you are well aware, i kill illegal ap vessels that are Code non compliant as per Code rules, and if they so happen to have a 3 bill pod inside … welll i wont complain
I kill Ventures because they are in Isanamo. If they wanted to avoid PvP, they could move one jump away, and I would probably never see them. It’s got nothing to do with killboard padding. If I wanted to killboard pad, I’d go to null like Dracvlad and whore on a titan or maybe a fortizar for 0% damage.
Do the Ventures I kill have a fair fight? Absolutely. They have the advantage, every single time. CONCORD ensures that they always, ALWAYS, are protected by a powerful defence fleet. Regardless, I enjoy elite PvP, and that’s why I gank.
I did like burning them with a magnifying glass when I was a kid
It is funny you don’t deny agers are cockroaches, they are hard to kill off as they don’t have lives outside eve (barely inside either), but also like a cockroach, they are useless vultures who can’t do anything but eat and hide in crevices in all their disgusting glory.
You should come chat with me on comms, I’m sure the conversation would be productive dryson, we could even talk about the famous scissor technique
Ganking new players is the best way to keep them interested in a PvP game.
Letting new players languish in a high security zone is the best way to ensure that they conclude EVE is a boring dead game with no interesting content.
There is. One that is objective and not totally subjective just because you think it should be.
You have nothing more than, “this is a shitfit, so this must be a new player”. That’s essentially what your opinion boils down to. As an opinion it’s fine. Just as it’s valid to have one, it’s also equally valid to dismiss it as a fact, because there is no proof.
I was keyboard whoring in a Revelation and a Chimera on two Fraternity Titans who tried to DD a entosis group, which then turned into a full on fight where dreads were dropped by both sides and my Rev also died in that fun fight, sounds like killboard padding to you at least. Hahahahahaha.
As for the Fortizar, you are butt hurt…
Of course you do, we know where to find you. You spend a lot of time in Perimeter sitting afk in the Keepstar too. Thing is that you are not worth finding. Aaarrgh is fun however, I often shoot him in passing.
Seriously mate your bias is really showing now. That type of reply is why I previously called you a ganker aligned poster. That it is likely to be a new player is an immensely valid extrapolation and to question that is just wrong.
Report what? Calm down…, I was going to say ganker, but you aren’t one, you are just a forum wanna be ganker fan boi who can’t take the loss of a structure when you do war decs.
Now that was a whine thread…, the first post being OP lol.
