Maybe to you, Drac, but you’ve been here a while; I haven’t even been playing a year. EvE is a complex game and I’m not at all shy about admitting there’s still a lot that I need to learn. That’s why I’m always asking questions.

My (limited) knowledge of CODE.’s history makes me inclined to believe the feeling is (or was) mutual; something about genuine assholes using your alliance’s behavior as a smokescreen/excuse for actual reprehensible behavior and making the whole group look bad.
Yeah, nobody likes loyal (who is still around, btw), he is unliked even among his Australian brethren, but he killed a lot of freighters, and that’s what’s really important.
Back when Loyalanon got banned, rumor had it that he’d been trolling the people in a chat channel for dealing with depression called Broadcast4Reps, supposedly going so far as to encourage several players there to kill themselves.
Considering all the propaganda and misinformation that gets thrown around in this community, I’ve essentially adopted the mindset of not believing anything unless I’ve personally witnessed it or there’s video evidence. Seeing you bring him up made me go WTF because it sounded like you were indirectly confirming he actually did do that.
…I’m kinda happy that you weren’t confirming it, TBH. I know people like that exist, but every time I see another example of someone who can sink that low I die a little more inside.
There are very few people who are competent on their own, but adding just a few friends makes any group vastly more than the sum of its parts. Get into fleets. We haven’t been in the same corp in a few months, so I’m no longer taking out frequent Low-Sec roams which you were welcome to join in on, but there are plenty of other options available. Even acknowledging that your corp has rather low retention among people who do a lot of PVP (for example, me), you have plenty of opportunities to fly in NPSI fleets. Check what’s on the Spectre schedule, what Bombers Bar is doing, what Greygal is doing, other NPSI groups. Pick a fleet that’s listed. Grab a not-too-expensive ship appropriate to the listed doctrine and get out there. I guarantee you that you’re not going to be noticeably less competent than most people in the fleet.
That was not so much a dig at you, the cough was an apology to you, and the comment was more aimed at Karak because it is basic stuff and he seems to be assuming that those who are his opponents in game don’t know it, which is a whooping great slice of stupid arrogance.
Man, I wish I could blather on about stuff, without even knowing what I’m talking about, and just have this misplaced self-confidence to think my opinions are even remotely relevant.
Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has them. My opinions are relevant to me and those that share them, if you don’t like what I say and think block me, it is easy enough to do.
Are you stupid? I for one don’t know, but both characters display the same sneering arrogant contempt and apply it in exactly the same way inside and outside of the game. As I said it is an opinion, I for one have no idea if they are the same people, but it sure seems that way.
