It isn’t harassment - don’t call it that.

This right here is why I read Lucas Kell tears.

Subtle little whines about fundamental aspects of the game. Like alts.

If I were to follow you around, repeatedly calling you an idiot, that would be harassment.

However, if you deliberately spam the forums, trying to provoke arguments with people who obviously find your ‘opinions’ to be idiotic, then you should not be surprised to find that they occasionally describe you as an idiot. I would also be justified in referring to you as a fool, a troll, a simpleton, a dollard, a pedant, a goblok, or a goofus.

As you know, idiot is a noun which refers to an ignorant person. The classical definition, from the Greek idiotes, refers to an individual who lacks skill or understanding of the technical nature of a subject. If you are offended to be referred to as an idiot, I suggest you put more effort into your writing so that you do not sound so idiotic.

For example, it is ignorant to state that CODE only ganks newbies, or only ganks in a few systems. Only an idiot would make such an absurd claim. You can easily verify the facts yourself, so there is no need to debate your ‘opinion’. By pointing out that your opinions are idiotic, I am simply expressing my opinion that there is no reason to engage or respond to the substance of your arguments, because they are all based on obvious fallacies and ignorant presumptions.

By stating that Lucas Kell is an idiot, I am not engaging in any kind of griefing or unsavory behaviour, and I am certainly not harassing you. I am simply stating the obvious, that you are ignorant and either don’t know what you are talking about, or you are deliberately misrepresenting facts in order to troll people with endless arguments. Ergo, you are either an idiot, or you are idiotic. One of the two.

Ultimately, you seem to derive great satisfaction from spamming people until they call you an idiot, and then crying foul, whining that you are being harassed. I am therefore indulging your desire for attention, and confirming that people do indeed find your ‘opinions’ to be idiotic. I hope you are satisfied with this attention, and appreciate my opinion.

Tell us all more about how much you’re not complaining, Lucas.

Lmao, welcome to eve

You keep saying that every year and you keep losing freighters to us and cry about it on the forums

Explain your profuse amount of butthurt, then. Hmmm?!?

It’s perfectly normal to make thousands of posts about an alliance that isn’t relevant

…or miners learn to fly the right ships fit properly and generally have a nice time mining. That’s how most Eve players see it.

Ahh, the classic “I’m entitled to do what I want and other people need to give that to me” argument.

No, it might be possible to do what they want but they are not “entitled” to it.

…yes yes, you want to no ganking in HS, we know…

His actual position is that he was in a gank fleet once - Burn Amarr. Somebody else set it up. Somebody brought in the ships for him, picked the targets and did all the work. L-Kell thought it was too easy. He has extrapolated that experience out to all forms of highsec ganking.

I am just catching everybody up, since L-Kell doesn’t like to repeat himself.

We’re all past that point with you, Lucas.

The butthurt is known. It’s damned obvious.
I don’t have any need to demonstrate your great butthurt. Years and years of your posting history does that just fine.

The discussion now lies in exploring the cause of your copious butthurt.

Nope. The sandbox concept is that the game designer sets up the universe as a persistent world but doesn’t pick any particular goal or story as “the right way to play the game”, contrasted with linear games where you play through a story in order from beginning to end or sports match games where you play a single isolated instance of the game until someone wins and then repeat. The sandbox concept is NOT that anyone can come up with any random way of playing the game and expect the developers to make it possible. You can’t just yell “sandbox” and demand the removal of PvP threats in a PvP game because you want to play without PvP.

Alas gankers are the ultimate carebears and refuse to accept that their gameplay is OP.

Because it is not OP at all. Ganking is only easy when farmer trash is lazy and stupid and offers up easy targets to be ganked. The solution is not to nerf ganking until farmer trash can succeed despite their utter incompetence and refusal to take responsibility for their own safety, it’s to laugh at the stupid people losing their stuff and tell them to go back to WoW.

PS: smart industry players want suicide ganking to happen often and hate the idea of any nerfs.

That’s the literal problem with these types, they blame the game instead of themselves. It’s why you see 10,000 carebear threads crying for nerfs and 0 threads from gankers asking for buffs

One group cries loudly for the next nerf and doesn’t try to understand how to better themselves to avoid getting ganked again

The other adapts with the constant nerfs and makes up new stats and teqniques or just accepts the games not what it used to be and plays something else

Like what, you say that you present many opportunities to come back at you, but you just make a statement and people are supposed to believe you. LOL.

Oh look I managed to meaningfully blow up a catalyst that was going to be blown up by CONCORD, I won Eve, yeah right. Loot scoopers are fun up until they realised that using a DST and scooping with a corvette is the safe way. Consequences my ass, the only consequence you have is having to multi-box like crazy with all the costs and pressure you have with that.

So there is no meaningful consequences to ganking, just buckle up and load on tank is the consequence, such wonderful game play. Sets my adrenaline going the thought of it, not…

I think Lucas got that spot on:

You said it is hard to identify the main and come back at them. I said this is my main and it is easy as I’m there in the field in the middle of the action easily identifiable.

The rest you can figure out on your own. I already said I’m looting with this char.

I also used to get wardeced sometimes because of that. Was a lot of fun. That got disabled last year though.

Every player can decide what to put on the table when undocking a ship or deploying a structure. This rule is the same for everyone.

I have zero consequences from multiboxing though. I have two gank alts and this one as the looter/scout. This one used to be subscribed for over a decade, the other ones until extractors became a thing. Today I only extract and can play omega for (almost) free.

Not my fault CCP introduced this massive buff to ganking, I did not ask for it. Weren’t you one of the people in favor of this buff? For the “new players”?

Yes I was, but it is like anything that the devs do in game, people will find ways to use and abuse it outside of the intended use and reasons. It is not my fault that CCP make such changes and do not keep tabs on how it is used and do not adjust anything to deal with misuse. They also do silly things like leaving full training applied when you account lapses and apply it all when you re-subscribe, which was the case for a long period of time before they realised it was costing them real money…

As for consequences, it is pretty evident that the newbie Venture or Retriever pilot has no chance of ever applying consequences to you as an old high SP character, that is like war decking PIRAT because they got war decked. And it is almost impossible if they hide behind alts like most gankers do. As I said no consequence game play.

I really want to waste my time hunting your T1 fitted Catalyst, it is such engaging game play that I get all tingly thinking about the awesomeness of it, makes me want to login…, not…

And when I go after the loot scooper, look at that you switch to a DST and scoop through a corvette, makes me doubly excited to go for it.

Consequences, what a joke!

EDIT: You will most likely start making butt hurt jibes, but this is merely me pointing out how a recently ganked player will see his options to apply consequences for his attackers unfold, and the so called excitement then develops into merely giving up the game or tanking his ship, so much for engaging game play and content.

So being forced to learn the pros/cons of ship types, how to avoid ganking, using D-Scan, etc is all meaningless to you?

Why are you even here?
