I would like to say hello and thank you to developers

Have you tried not using Tama? It’s literally the only place where Lancers are getting kills.

So instead of adjusting your strategy, you decided to complain on the forums?

Well… that’s one way to play EVE. It may not be an effective way to play as I doubt it will do you any good, but it does result in entertaining threads.

I would also like to say Hello and Thank You to the developers.
I think they’re doing a great job with this game. There are some issues but none of them are game-breaking and, as I understand it, they’re still improving it.

To your complaints I say this: I traveled to Null on my first day and got exploded a few times before I finally was able to pass beyond the choke point between Losec and Null. It took some tenacity and hard-headedness on my part but I eventually got through and on to several other Null systems all the way to a dead-end system and back.
It was a great adventure for my first day and I hope to beat that soon next with a different ship.
I’m going to buy me a great beautiful shuttle and try a few things, hopefully learn a few things and be better off than I am now.

EVE Online is the kind of game where you don’t get to do what you want. It’s not a carousel at a theme park, it’s a PvP game, which means you be F-ed until you get smarter and better at figuring it out.
If you don’t have the skill for hauling then the answer is simple: Don’t do it.

I’m not skilled to do anything in the game but explore strange new worlds and get exploded in corvettes. So that’s exactly what I do, explore and see what this game is all about.
I’m not going to buy expensive ships and modules in a vain dream of making wild profits and ruling a system when I know damn well that I suck majorly at PvP and that I have a lot to learn. I can look reality in the eyes and be humble enough to know that New Eden is a dangerous place for me and that it will be a long time before I feel comfortable enough to undock in a nice shiny Destroyer.
I’m just a little kid who cannot use a regular bicycle
but have to go around with a three-wheeler until I know how to use it properly.
This is me now:

This will be me in a few years when I learn to PvP properly:
Sorry, as a new user I’m only allowed one inbedded media. :frowning:

Finally, if you cannot handle losing a ship, you can always stay docked and play the market or Project Discovery, if you like boredom that is.

EVE is a difficult game and the players who gatecamp and gank contribute to the level of difficulty. That is simply the way the game is set up.
You can accept your weaknesses and work on getting stronger or throw the towel and play a different game.

Thank you. At least now I know I’m doing something right.
It isn’t about how hard life is, it is about what you do about it… or something to that effect.

Literally only Tama …

It is very interesting when a person who appeared in the game less than a year ago talks about what kind of game it is to someone who has been in it for more than 10 years.

If you take the trouble to understand what I’m writing about, it’s obvious that I think it’s wrong to tip the balance in such a way that one type of player, perhaps not the most numerous, gets such opportunities by dominating other players - not at the expense of their skills, more time in the game, but simply due to the mechanics that the developers add.

Then I assume you are for CCP Games returning non-ganking Outlaw piracy gameplay to high sec, as you must have remembered how dangerous High Sec was 10 years ago with outlaws in tons of systems?

They are not the most numerous, but they are getting dominated / removed from high sec not at the expense of their skills but simply due to the mechanics that the developers add.

I’m done with this thread.

So please…

I could not resist the temptation of showing the hypocrisy in the principles you allegedly hold.

Well, since you have changed your unshakable decision, which you announced so pathetically, then tell me about my hypocrisy.

Where, how, in what.

Did you not read my post? Lol.

If you were truly for the “guys who get stomped on because of CCP dev changes” then you must be FOR all of the High Sec Outlaws making a comeback like you should remember 10+ years ago. Which would make you PRO-pirating. Instead of this incessant whiner.

I came across a new mechanic added by the developers, and wrote my opinion about how this mechanic affects the game and that it is too big advantages for a small group of players who already have sufficient advantages. my. opinion.

you come and start accusing me of being hypocritical because I didn’t write anything about other developer changes, of which there have been dozens and hundreds over the years.

where is the logic?

So all the nerfs to ganking and piracy dont mean nothing to you?

So i do not ganker or pirate and do not know all mechs chages wich frustrated those pilots. I know the game from my side and describe my opinion from my side. why I am accused of not understanding the game or hypocrisy is not very clear to me.

as I said earlier, campers have been given a very powerful means of getting rich, which allows them to acquire more and more powerful fleets, making such activities in the game more attractive, safe and profitable. players whose playstyle is different from piracy have not received anything like this and are unlikely to ever get it.

the limit on the number of warpstab made it harder to warp out of the camp. now there is even no way to bypass it by jumping through the gate. gentlemen pirates must get their way one way or another, this best group of players must not be upset.

Every year or 6 months, one side gets nerfed while another side gets buffed. Its a balancing act. You just happen to see a buff coming to pirates

You were the one who whipped out your 10+ years of experience:

You either remember all the changes or you don’t get to play the „I’m 10 years old“ card.

Very interesting indeed.
