Coming from the 3D modeling and animation field when playing EVE I always wished I could pick a point on my ship and switch the camera to view from that point.
If anyone has used any 3D modeler for example like MAYA - it was called a pivot point, or Softimage XSI - it was a selected tagged point for camera orbit. something like that.
It would be so cool to have a set of “ship window” points to click on and then rotate the view from that location or so called “window”.
just sayin…

We used to have a cool camera, then the devs made it in to what it is today.
Right after they “fixed it” they thought it would be smart to organise a contest in wich players can submit their cool videos of eve, that was the first and last of those kind of contests
