Hi CCP i am addicted to this game and i play everyday, i’m bombarded with ads trying to sell me plex in the thousands and i just buy and buy and play and play, my life is out of control, should i go to gaming rehab? Are you proud of this game and how it constantly requires you to spend all your IRL money to unlock content and ships?

It doesn’t require you to do that. You only need to pay for a monthly subscription to unlock all content.

I do know what you mean, but some players ( such as myself ) are making tons of ISK as alpha players and having fun here. Others plex their accounts with ISK, this requires “grinding” which isn’t that difficult. I am able to make 2.5 billion ISK per month but I don’t plex my account. Plex is sold in the market for about 4.5 million ISK each, you need 500 plex to get 1 month of omega.
Now I am about to make some players upset. Sorry about this… I play Black Desert, I bought my account for cash and after that there is no pay wall. Pearl Abyss plays a smart game, you pay $15 US to get a “30 day Value Pack” which gives you buffs, lower market tax, and access to a special dye palette for clothing. Otherwise the game is open PvP and PvE. I have spent hundreds in Black Desert on cosmetics; clothes, wallpaper, rugs, furniture, etc.. Meanwhile not one thin dime here in Eve Online.
My advice is to find something you enjoy doing in EVE and stick with that as a career here. You can make millions of ISK per day. Either buy omega for IRL money or plex your account. Also we are allowed to have more than one account here. Only omegas can play more than one omega account at a time. This means there are some whales here, with more than 2 omega accounts legally multi-boxing the game. So don’t expect a sympatric ear from them.

Set some boundaries for yourself. Or quit, if you cannot resist the urge and the game is as problematic for you as you describe.
Alternatively you could try asking EVE support if they can somehow turn off your ability to spend money on EVE. I kniw they’re willing to turn off the hypernet feature for people with gambling issues, they might also be willing to help players with spending issues.
