Implants and High Sec Ganking

To create a more risk versus reward involving High Sec ganks I suggest that those who gank and might have implants in their clone not be allowed to jump to a new clone that might not have any implants in order to avoid losing said implants.

If you gank in High Sec, then for the 30 days that the kill right is on your clone, you wouldn’t be able to swap out to another clone to avoid losing the clone that you ganked with. Being able to jump to another clone after ganking to avoid punishment, either at the hands of the pilot that was ganked or by others who might pick the free kill right up is an exploit.

Although Concord punished the ganker for the outright crime of ganking in High Sec the fact is that for 30 days the extended punishment of CONCORD remains at the discretion of the pilot who was ganked. Thus making it an exploit by purposely avoiding punishment imposed by CONCORD by clone jumping.

What purpose does this serve, and how will it change the existing risk vs reward dynamic?

If you gank in High Sec, then for the 30 days that the kill right is on your clone, you wouldn’t be able to swap out to another clone to avoid losing the clone that you ganked with. Being able to jump to another clone after ganking to avoid punishment, either at the hands of the pilot that was ganked or by others who might pick the free kill right up is an exploit.

The kill right doesn’t apply to the clone, it applies to the character, your idea seems to restrict the opportunity to exact vengeance to one clone only. This is an uninformed and unnecessarily restrictive suggestion because swapping clones doesn’t equate to avoiding the kill right, it currently being equally valid on all clones of a specific character

This is poorly thought out and appears to demonstrate that you know little of how kill rights and clones actually work.

Clone jumping doesn’t evade any punishments exacted by Concord, or kill rights for that matter.

TL:DR You need to understand how things currently work before you can make suggestions for improvement, I suggest you do some research next time.

You don’t understand what risk/reward even means as what you are suggesting is a penalty for a behavior.

Most gankers are perma-reds anyways so…this is 100% pointless.

Also, you are f’ing with REAL MONEY as people pay to use ALL their characters in an account and not have them limited because they decided to blow-up an idiot Cov AFK miner…

Sorry but you should probably think before posting. There’s people here who know how the game currently works.

Not to say that suggestions are bad, but people who like eve (or any game forum you haphazardly post in) will definitely bring their knowledge and experience in and point out any flaws.

Which they have pretty well stomped it (with good reason) . You’re just not informed enough to make this kind of suggestion.

I do emphasize with you though. Some lessons are hard learned.

Does anyone else notice that it’s always intellectually dumb and or emotionally immature people who are against ganking?

It is one of the absolutely hilarious perks of ganking. It’s like you have Wile e Coyote as an enemy.

If you lose apps in HiSec you are really bad at the game and deserve the loss.

It’s nigh impossible to lose pods unless you’re bad.

So this change isn’t needed.

Ganking does need a rework there is no risk to the ganker at all. They lose nothing because the ships and modules that they lose have already been paid for from the profits they make from one single gank. After the first freighter gank the gankers are not risking anything but are rewarded greatly.

Where is the risk of the ganker when they are not losing any of their own ISK?

There has to be a risk involved for the ganker.

The risk involved is that when you reach -5.0 security status your pod is then able to be destroyed after the ship is destroyed for thirty days from the last time you ganked or conducted a criminal act that turned your security status to -5.00.

No more -5.0 to -10.o sec status gankers or Low Sec pirates being able to travel freely through High Sec in a pod. A Pod is a ship in and of itself and is therefore bound to the same rules that apply to a pilot flying a ship that is -5.0 or -10.0.

By intellectually dumb do you mean believing that with every ship that you gank you are gaining favor with CCP by ensuring pilots lose hard earned ISK and money due to your acts where your acts have actually been paid for by the many ships that you ganked where nothing comes out your wallet but has come from the wallets of everyone else?

Basically your intellectual prowess to make everyone feel like they have done something wrong in order to gank them just so you gather large amounts of ISK value so that you can buy PLEXES to support all of the OMEGA accounts that you run which takes even more ISK out of CCP’s pocket?

Just the other day someone compared me to a child abuser for ganking miners.

Carebears are really unhinged.

Problems with gankers and their intellect?

Gankers have magnets in their heads that repel them away from work and attract them to laziness.

And yet you are crying for CONCORD to help you because YOU are too stupid and lazy to actually learn how the game works…

Miners are great…you however are pathetic.

The same could be said of their victims…

Yet another “waah waah, gankers are scary, daddy CCP, please chase them away, I’m too worthless and pathetic to improve myself!!” post.

This is exceptional, here is why: You read that sentence, quote it, but don’t understand what was said and by doing so validate the sentence. Exceptional.

Oh damn, you figured it out, we are just here to steal ISK out of CCP’s pocket :money_mouth_face:
